Word In Season

NOTE: The breaking of this text has been modified.

God proves to be good,
To the man who passionately waits,
To the woman who diligently seeks.

It’s a good thing to quietly hope,
Quietly hope for help from God.

It’s a good thing when you’re young,
To stick it out through the hard times.

When life is heavy and hard to take,
Go off by yourself. Enter the silence.

Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions.
Wait for Hope to appear.

Don’t run from trouble.
Take it full-face.
The “worst” is never the worst.

– Inspired by Lamentations 3

Thanks, Dawn.

Your post has made a difference.
Your Word in Season became mine, too.

May His grace see us through. =)

Lamentations 3:22-23
---------------------------

22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,

 for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;

 great is your faithfulness.

Here's some Bible trivia for you:

Lamentations 3 is an interesting text to study if you understand the Hebrew language. You see, it is written in the form of an acrostic poem. That means that the verses of each stanza begin with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet, and the verses within each stanza begin with the same letter. Cool huh? We won't see it in the English translation of the Bible, though. =p
