A Wife At Five & A Girl Worth Fighting For

Someone The Husband and I knew had just gotten married and well, his brand new wife sure looked urm... nice... during their wedding. *cough* Not. *cough* 😬

That night, I felt led to urge The Husband to pray for our sons and their future wives – our future daughters-in-law – during our nightly, bedtime prayer. As a mother, it’s my deepest hope and greatest desire that JZ and JJ choose wisely, so our family grows with people we genuinely enjoy having around for forever, and not just out of obligation because of some legal paper.

The next day, as I was driving JZ to school,  the topic somehow came up again while we were listening to the soundtrack of Disney's Mulan. The lyrics of the song "A Girl Worth Fighting For" hit me in an unexpected way...

Artist: Various Artists
Title: A Girl Worth Fighting For

[Army]
For a long time we've been
Marching off to battle

[Yao]
In our thundering herd
We feel a lot like cattle

[Army]
Like the pounding beat
Our aching feet aren't
Easy to ignore

[Ling]
Hey, think of instead
A girl worth fighting for

[Mulan]
Huh?

[Ling]
That's what I said:
A girl worth fighting for
I want her paler than the
Moon with eyes that
Shine like stars

[Yao]
My girl will marvel at my strength
Adore my battle scars

[Chien Po]
I couldn't care less what she'll wear
Or what she looks like
It all depends on what she cooks like
Beef, pork, chicken
Mmm

[Yao]
Bet the local girls thought
You were quite the charmer

[Ling]
And I'll bet the ladies love
A man in armor

[Army]
You can guess what we
Have missed the most
Since we went off to war

[Ling]
What do we want?

[Army]
A girl worth fighting for

[Yao]
My girl will think I have no faults

[Chien Po]
That I'm a major find

[Mulan]
Uh, how 'bout a girl who's got a brain
Who always speaks her mind?

[Yao, Ling, and Chien Po]
Nah!

[Ling]
My manly ways and turn of
Phrase are sure to thrill her

[Yao]
He thinks he's such a lady killer

[Chi Fu]
I've a girl back home who's
Unlike any other

[Yao]
Yeah, the only girl who'd
Love him is his mother

[Army]
But when we come home
In victory they'll line up
At the door

[Ling]
What do we want?

[Army]
A girl worth fighting for

[Ling]
Wish that I had

[All]
A girl worth fighting for
A girl worth fighting...

"A girl worth fighting for" – this made me think, you know. Not everyone prioritises the same things. But in the heat of youth and the whirlwind of romance, it’s easy to get swept up in the thrill of winning someone’s affection – especially if that someone is popular or is what the world considers "a good catch".

But what is a good catch, anyway? Beauty? Brains? Charm? To me, it’s about whether she’s the right girl – someone whose character reflects what truly matters in a relationship, whose values align with ours, and who would fit naturally and lovingly into our family. Aih... susah lah. 😅

----------------------

Dear God,

Guide my boys so that they may one day choose good wives. Let them grow with their heads and hearts in the right places, so they may focus on what is lasting and worthy – like faith and character – rather than what is fleeting and superficial, like beauty and charm.

Do not awaken love before it is ready. But when the time is right, direct their eyes and open their hearts only to those who are good, godly, and live by the fruits of Your Spirit – women who will love selflessly, live contentedly, speak thoughtfully, forgive freely, and parent with patience and grace.

May these women bring joy and not sorrow, happiness and not stress to my boys. May they strengthen, support, and grow in faith alongside their husbands through every season of life. May they draw the brothers closer to one another, and bring unity, peace, love, and joy into our family. Amen.

3rd Birthday, 3x The Fun!

Was super busy rushing around town celebrating JJ's 3rd birthday today with all his classmates. He had THREE birthday celebrations in 1 day. Siao or not?? Mommy have to prepare everything until also wanna siao liao. 😰 #Ishouldbepaidforthis #youbetterlovemeforever

First party was with his CH AM class – current classmates with whom we are not so familiar with. Second party was with his CH PM class – more familiar classmates cos we were together for 3 terms before moving up to AM. And last but not least, the third party was with his friends at LS – an enrichment centre I send the kids to for Mandarin and world knowledge. Phew! What a mad rush it was for us today!

When I was alone in the car with him, driving from one destination to another, I asked him this question:

Pam Song: JJ... Since it's your birthday today, let me know what you want to do next year.

JJ: *without hesitation* EAT.

Pam Song: LOL!! ðŸ˜‚😂😂 Is that all??

JJ: Eat everything. Eat my cake. Eat my cupcake.

Hahaha. Okay, Son. Eat away!

The way to this boy's heart is truly through his stomach. He had better find a woman who can cook! Or rather... his future wife had better learn to cook well or else! Hahaha.

And Now We're 5

Not literally though. Relax. Not ready for THAT ship to sail yet. Am still paying instalment on the last two "ships" we "bought". LOL. #funnybutnotfunny

I actually spent the day doing exactly what I would have done on any other regular Saturday – doing nothing worth remembering in the greater scheme of things, and yet physically, mentally and emotionally feeling like I've just spent the day doing more than I can remember.

Having two kids and a looong holiday is no joke, man. I'm just knackered day in and day out. Doesn't help that the kids picked up some kind of virus a week back so it's been nightly fevers + running noses + thickening mucous + phlegmy coughs + midnight tantrums + fussy fellas... OMG I CANNOT TAKE IT!!! -__-'''''

So anyhew... just 5 years down the road
and The Husband and I already be like:

"Can postpone celebration ah?"

Seriously. Cos... Romance?
What's that after kids, right? Haha.

Truth be told, we're all down with the kids' mutated virus that just refuses to die. That and, more relevantly, babysitters are nowhere to be found within 350km radius of us and our two kiddos so... bye-bye anniversary celebrations. See you in October. Maybe. (Yeah, no kidding when I say it's a looong postponement. -_-')

Anyhoo, I thought we could make this year a little more special since it's our 5th (read: wooden) anniversary and all but I guess... it wasn't gonna be a magical-wood-found-deep-within-the-Enchanted-Forest kind of celebration for us. More like dead-wood-found-floating-on-the-Dead-Sea, as it turns out. LOL.

I'll update come October. IF October happens, that is. (I deeply suspect it's never gonna. T_T) In the mean time, The Husband says this *points below* is his anniversary gift to me this year.

Guess it's better than unwrapping
a vacuum cleaner anniversary gift, right? =p

Yep, Imma count my blessings.

----------

Happy 5th Anniversary, Honey.

I'm thankful it's you I share
moist Pandan Sponge Cakes with.
Today, tomorrow and always.

XOXO,
Pam Song

Things I Would Have Done Differently During My Wedding

Decided to kaypo around online for a bit over lunch today and whoaaaa... I'm beyond surprised that this (dead) blog still has visitors! LOL! So honoured la, really. Talk about it also can cry a bit. =p Makes me wanna revive it a little. If only for today. Haha.

Let's see.

What's the most happening thing
that just happened recently...

Well, we just attended Sara & Garrett's wedding at Saujana two weekends ago and it totally made me reflect on our wedding back in 2011. Mainly cos our kids – JZ (3y6m) and JJ (1y8m) – were their ring-bearer and paige boy so I suddenly had a rush of involvement in a wedding once again. Haha. Like I told the Lau Sisters... I AM MOTHER OF THE RING-BEARER, YO!! Important posisi giler. LOL! #tumpangglamour

The dashing paige boy.

The handsome ring-bearer.

Me and my boys after they carried out their tasks perfectly.

Anyhoo, I wonder if any of you married folk have ever looked back upon your wedding day and wished that some things were different. Cos I hate to admit it but sometimes... I do. Haha. #honest #notiputipu Here are some things I only learned AFTER I had my wedding. And unfortunately, I won't be able to relive the day so... may you brides- and grooms-to-be take back some lessons I learned too late. Cheers!

----------------------------------------------
Things I Would Have Done Differently
----------------------------------------------

FLOWERS & THEME: I wouldn't have chosen "unique colours" for my wedding theme – specifically when it came to the floral arrangements. I would have gone with what was safely available in Malaysia. Boring is better than wrong. T_T In hindsight, I think I should have gone with white and green (easy and simple), instead of royal purple and pale green (too complicated and unachievable in Malaysia due to our lack of flower varieties).

ACCESSORIES: I wouldn't have accessorised my neckline during my solemnisation. Bridal house accessories are soooo overdone and OTT. What the heck was I thinking wearing that ugly-ass thing that's now splashed across all my solemnisation pictures?? -_-''' Should have just kept to what I owned, like I did during my behind-the-scenes photography with The Husband a couple of hours before the wedding solemnisation.

THE DRESS: Having said that, I probably would have gone with a non-tube wedding gown instead of a tube. Just for ease of movement and less under garment stress. LOL. May have even taken the plunge and had it MTM. Or maybe not. I didn't mind the cost; but I didn't have the guts back then. Maybe I still don't. HARHAR. #chickenshit #trustissues

OTHER EVENING GOWNS: I wouldn't have worn one of the dresses I did – an autumn-looking one. (Dunno how else to describe it. Haha.) I liked it at the bridal house and ordered my own but when mine arrived, it looked soooo different from the original I tried on. -_- I should have rejected it on the spot but I didn't – #stupid #naive #pushover – and ended up wearing it anyway. Should have just written it off, replaced it with one of the dresses I wore during my parents' dinner and called it a day. I really liked those two anyway – a white cheongsam by D&L and a silver gown – so I wouldn't have minded more pics of me in those. Haih. REGRET! >(

PHOTOGRAPHY: I would have been more assertive with my wedding photographer and given more specifics regarding my expectations for our family group photos. Or maybe I should have gone with another photographer altogether. Hmmm. I mean, I loved my pre-wedding shots. They were natural and un-staged – just the way we like 'em. That's what my hired photographer was good at anyway. But everything else on the actual day came out a little sub-par. Family group photos were badly arranged (families were split apart and the group was grossly lopsided), the environment wasn't properly staged (people walking in the background, messy flower pots around, etc) – at the end of the day, what we got just wasn't something we would print out and frame.

THE WEDDING DINNER: Food was great, the music was great, everything was great. The only thing I regretted was expecting that the bride and groom were to do everything together as a show of solidarity during the wedding. Remember: Expectation always leads to DISAPPOINTMENT. I should have just walked around on my own and caught up with my friends like I really wanted to instead of fuming on the inside while sitting around waiting for The Husband to go along with me. I hardly managed to say two words to my friends who came all the way for our wedding and ended up not having any pictures with most of them. Haih! So stupid.

THE HOTEL ROOM: Maybe we should have been clearer with our bridal team about our intentions to spend the wedding night at the hotel. Because we did up our bridal room in our own space back at home, some members of our bridal team assumed that we wouldn't be utilising our bridal suite that night so... THEY TRASHED IT. @_@ Thank goodness our hotel gave us 2 nights in total so we got to spend one night in our wedding hotel the day after anyway. But still wasted one night and damn tired lah. Cos after the wedding etc we had to pack up all our stuff and head home. Then the next morning after we woke up, we had to pack again and drive back to the hotel before we could chill out.

These things aside, I was pretty happy
with how the rest of the wedding party went.

Till next time... bye-bye. :-*

Shen + Pam Turn 2!

2-years-old with an 8-month honeymoon, followed by a 9-month pregnancy, resulting in a 7.5-month-old baby boy. I don't know about you but if you ask me, I think Shen + Pam have done pretty well thus far. =)

M.B.A.

Overheard a 50-something-year-old man talking to his friends about the GE13 results at a coffee shop here in Penang this morning when the subject of a certain Malaysian political leader's education (or the lack thereof) came up. But wait, I'm not here to talk about politicians, politics or about how disappointing the electoral results turned out to be. We were talking about that 50-something-year-old man. And at the end of their discussion, the old man very proudly said:

Old Man: Even I got M.B.A., man.

Friend: Eh, you have meh??

Old Man: Got! My M.B.A. is "Married But Available"!

-_-'

I really can't decide who's worse.
Him, or the man he was b*tching about.

Sigh.

What is this land and its people coming to?

=(

The Emo-ness Of It All

I miss my parents. I miss the careless abandon of being the baby of the family. A daughter and child to parents who love me selflessly. I miss living my days without the overshadowing responsibility of being the dutiful wife and doting mother to the respective members of the little family I have to call my own now.

I miss having a proper job. One that pays well enough to (almost) justify working me to the bone. I miss earning a living for myself. I miss having a paycheck to look forward to every month. I miss looking to my right or left and seeing an actual person working on a comp next to me instead of having to Skype or FaceTime. And I miss having colleagues I can talk to face to face and have lunch with.

I miss having friends. I miss spending time with them. I miss chill-out sessions and girly hangouts over cakes and cups of tea. Shopping and gossiping like we shouldn't, while laughing and creating memories like we totally should.

I miss shopping. Real shopping. Without a deadline or a budget. Without a shopping trolley alongside rows and rows of toilet paper, floor cleaner, cereal or organic vegetables, too. I miss shopping with both hands free to pick out clothes and try them on. I miss hitting the malls before lunch and going home after dinner.

I miss wearing clothes that fit and flatter. As opposed to always having to resort to loose tops that serve no purpose other than to keep me covered up well enough to also be able to uncover in a flash and breastfeed my son whenever he so demands.

I miss sleeping soundly through the night. To just relax my body and mind for more than a couple of hours' stretch at a time. To sleep without having to wake up at the slightest whimper, stir or cry. To be able to stretch out my arms and toss and turn and do somersaults in bed without worrying that I could unknowingly crush and flatten my sleeping 4-month-old lying next to me.

I miss waking up feeling refreshed and recharged to face a brand new day. Instead of feeling sluggish and fatigued like I usually wake up feeling so very often these days. I miss snuggling under the covers and snoozing just a couple of minutes, and yet a couple of minutes more, after I first open my eyes, to begin with.

I miss having time to blog. Whenever about whatever. I miss sharing my thoughts, telling random tales, and logging my days. I miss reading comments from my regulars and replying those comments as quickly as they come in. I miss the closeness of the online community I once enjoyed and was once a part of.

Bride's Special Dance

Worth a watch... and a million tears.

A very special Father-Daughter dance at a wedding... without the bride's father present. Mark – the dad – passed away earlier in the year from pancreatic cancer. ='( Andrea – the bride – instead, had her first dance with Mark's father (i.e. her grandfather), followed by her brother Luke, then her brother Nick (who sang the song), then finally, with her new father-in-law, Scott. Heartbreaking and heart-warming at the same time. Butterfly Kisses with a difference.

10.11.12

That's me, all excited and ready
for date night with The Husband.

But of course, it wasn't the first picture I took.

I probably ended up with a billion Photobooth shots no thanks to The Husband who just felt like photobombing every single one of my pictures tonight. -_-'''

Gatal wan.

Anyway, this is the first time I'm getting dressed up for a night out with him in a long time (the last was during our first anniversary earlier this year), and this will possibly be the last time in a long time that The Husband and I will be able to go on a one-on-one romantic date together so... it's going to be a night to be cherished indeed! =D

p/s: Please excuse the wet hair, by the way. It's just waaay too hot in Penang to do any blow drying. And, well, I just couldn't be bothered with contact lenses right now so... glasses it is!

Best Days Of Our Lives

My Facebook newsfeed seems to be filled with pictures of babies and weddings this year. More so than any other year before even, I feel. Guess we're all at that age; we're all at that time in our lives where we find a mate, put a ring on it, settle down and breed. Haha. Oh how far we've come and how much we've grown since the days of tutus, monkey bars and poney tails. =')

Making Room In The Room

After moving down to KL for almost 10 months and now coming back up to Penang again, I discovered that I have accumulated a lot of extra stuff along the way that I need to make room for in our room in Penang. I've now got more books, more clothes, more bed linen, more blankets, more electrical gadgets and more odds and ends than ever before... but no extra storage area to put them all in. @_@

So how to make room leh?

  1. Double stack all books
  2. Toss out old clothes
  3. Give away wearables that are no longer worn
  4. Fold up wedding/dinner gowns and keep them out of sight

Urm... What else can I do ah? :-/

The Most Belated Wedding Present Ever!

Received it this morning. Hahaha. Delivered right to my doorstep by Crazy Stick Abu 1 year and 3.5 months after my wedding. Haha. I laughed like mad when I found out it was purposed as a wedding gift. Alamak, that woman. By the time her wedding gift arrived ah... first year anniversary long time passed already and I could have conceived, carried and given birth to a baby liao lor. Haha. So funny la this old friend of mine. Haha.

But still, I thought it was sweet that she bothered even though
she couldn't make it for our wedding cos she was in Shanghai. =)

And the gift was...

ALL FOR ME AND NOT FOR THE HUSBAND!

Estée Lauder's Purse Spray Collection that comes with a pouch,
which include Beautiful, Pure White Linnen, Sensuous,
Pleasures and Pleasures Intense.

Bwahahahaha! This is the way to go lah. Seriously.
As if guys care about wedding gifts to begin with, right?? HAHA.
Now, for some pictures of MY present:

Love the purse. I wonder if anybody will notice
if I use it as a clutch instead of a make-up bag. =p
Maybe during the next wedding dinner I'm invited to.

HAHA.

I have no idea what they all smell like except for Pleasures. Gotta try them out one by one and see if they sit well on my skin. First spritz will be the next time The Husband takes me out on a romantic date. =D

If ever that day comes, that is. -_-'''

Invitation To A Fairytale Wedding

Yup. Got served again. Haha.

I guess The Husband and I are just at that age where the people we know are all settling down and tying the knot. These folk got served by us last year. (See a picture of this Disney buff bride-to-be and I in Penang at my wedding in July last year here.) So, this year, they're returning the favour with a KL wedding in September. Fair lah, I suppose. HAHA.

Only problem is... I dunno what
to wear to a Disney wedding leh.

Tiara?

No, that's for the bride.

Princess-y ball gown?

No, that's for the bride, too.

*blink blink*

Dang, I sure could use a fairy godmother
or some twinkly pixie dust right now. :-/

Lagging Kau Kau

I didn't have a million dollar wedding with nine-hundred-and-ninety-nine tables. Because of that, no obligatory invitations were sent out. I ended up only inviting friends whom I really wanted at my wedding, whom I knew would also actually want to be there to celebrate with me on my big day.

That meant only friends I still kept in touch with, or have continuously and consistently kept in touch with over the years, were notified of my upcoming wedding and eventually were present to witness our coming together as husband and wife. A small-ish, cosy-ish affair. (But of course, Chinese weddings are never really small or 100% cosy. =p)

And then, after the wedding, I kept things on the down-low online. The blog was still private then and my FB page was only open to a handful of friends. Because of that, hardly anyone beyond those who were invited for our wedding knew that I'd gotten married. Haha.

That's why it came as no big surprise to me when an old primary school mate whom I only occasionally keep in touch with sent me this What'sApp message out of the blue yesterday morning:

Haha. Poor dude.

PRESSURE'S ON, MATE!! =p

The Wedding Dress Exhibition In Singapore

Click here to jump to official site or here to head to their FB page.

OMG, 200 years of wedding fashion in ONE place?? With bridal gowns by wedding greats like Vera Wang and Vivienne Westwood?? Too cool. I super wanna go!! Argh!!! Why don't they ever hold cool exhibitions like these in Malaysia? Why? Why?! WHY??? T_T

Remembering THE Dress

I started reminiscing about our wedding at the sight of my wedding gown hanging in a big black bag with a transparent front, in front of our bed, while back in Penang last weekend. My wedding gown. THE dress of my life. The one that will remain special to me no matter how drastically bridal fashion changes or how fat I get in 20 years.

So... I rummaged through the 80GB's worth of pictures in my comp – I really should start backing up my files – and found some pictures I took of the gown the night before I stashed it into its protective bag a little over 10 months ago, after I had it dry cleaned. Here are some of them. =)

It's only been a year and three days shy of a month since I wore it for the first time (for like, barely 6 hours -_-''') but... looking at the dress (and myself in the mirror), I don't think there's any way I can squeeze myself into it anymore. HAHA. No need to wait 20 years for the waistline to expand or the fat to pile on. =p Here are some actual day pics of me in it for old time's sake.

Yup. There's no way I can fit into this dress now.

*snorts*

p/s: I should really get to blogging about the wedding, shouldn't I? It's been awhile. So last year. *flips hair* HAHA.

Decisions

We hardly ever realise how important certain decisions are until we've made them and are living with the consequences. Sure, the older folk tell us it's important. And yeah, we hear them. But we don't actually get it until we start living in the good or bad times that come, following the decisions we make.

Like choosing the right course to undertake out of the many hundreds that are offered in uni. Pick the wrong one and your future and career is pretty much doomed. The right one, on the other hand, ensures you'll never have to go hungry, and even if you do go hungry sometimes, it'll be worth it.

That, or choosing the right man to marry. Give your hand in marriage to the wrong man and your happiness and bloodline is screwed. But with the right man, you know that whatever good or bad life brings, a good man always makes even the worst of situations bearable as long as it's him you have by your side.

Instead, we waste our time worrying about the other inconsequential things in life. Like whether our friends are headed to the same uni as we are. Or whether our ivory shoes match our egg-white wedding gown. We do all that instead of keeping our focus on the things that actually matter and will carry weight.

But then again, looking back at how things were before they became what they are, would you be able to tell that this is what would become of your decisions if you hadn't known then what you know now? Possibly not. For hindsight tells more accurate tales than foresight ever could.

I only know I took the right course in the right uni because I'm happy where I am and I love doing what I do. The late nights, the crazy deadlines – they're all worth it. Maybe not to you, but they are to me. Cos they were my right decision. And because of that, today, I'm enjoying all the good that that right decision has brought my way.

I also only know I married the right man because every sacrifice I've made for us to arrive at where we are, have also been worth it. Perhaps not to eyes beyond ours, but to me and hopefully to him, they're all worth it. The friendships I've had to forgo, the full-time job I've had to give up, and the interests I've had to sacrifice. They have to be worth it. And I'll enjoy the good these decisions will bring my way, someday.

Egg Mayo Sandwich

Home made, of course. =)

Wish I had some greens to go with this but... oh well. This was last Saturday's impromptu tea so I had no such luxury at hand. Thing is, The Husband did say that he was impressed by my sandwich-making skills. Haha. I'm glad I married a man who is easy to amuse, please and impress in the kitchen. Score! =p

Shen + Pam Hit The 1-Year Mark!

That's right! We're one! Both, in marriage
and in marital age! Hahaha. #smartalec

The Husband and I on Monday, 9 July 2012
– our first wedding anniversary.

On our way out for dinner after snapping this pic, The Husband turned to me and said, "One year already, man. So fast." I have to agree. So fast. Oh, how time has flown. Some days it still feels like we just got married. Just went crazy planning the wedding. Just registered ourselves as husband and wife. Just walked down the aisle. Just shook a million hands. And just began our lives together as one. But it's already been a year! @_@ Yup. Time sure does fly.

Anyway, we went out for a nice dinner at PRIME, Le MERIDIAN, KL. Tucked into a steak each (ok but nowhere near as good as Hippo Creek, Sorrento), skipped dessert (so full I was bursting at the seams!), went home, took a good bath, and crashed into bed by 10:30PM. Hahaha. How romantic, right? I was just so tired from my conference earlier that day lah. And the thought of waking up super early morning for Day 2 of the conference just killed me. (Sorry, Honey!)

But I must say... Life has been pretty kind to us thus far. Things are unfolding well, our lives are changing in ways we never imagined it would, and things are going great. Oh, and I'll tell you this: Living together is a m-i-l-l-i-o-n times easier than going long distance. We know. We've done the time. Haha. So yes, marriage has been smooth sailing for us, with lots of laughter and good times in between for good measure. If this is what Year 1 is like, I can't wait to see what the next few decades will bring. <3

Sudden Realisation Of A Repeated Boo-Boo

It's already the 5th of July.

 *blink blink*

Dang.

The past two weeks have just been so crazy busy for me with work and traveling and other random to-dos that I haven't really had the time, or the strength, nor the mental capacity to keep track of dates or days... much less the day and date of something as intangible as...

OUR LEGAL WEDDING DATE. @_@

Yup. I missed our legal wedding date altogether, on our very first legal wedding date anniversary. (We exchanged vows before man and God on Saturday, the 9th of July 2011, but we were actually legally married 6 days earlier on Sunday, the 3rd of July 2011 – the day we took our couple shots and held the first wedding banquet.) Hahaha.

Won't be the first time I've done such a boo-boo though. =p

When we first started dating a whole decade and a year ago, The Husband somehow kick-started a tradition of celebrating Monthiversaries when he came over to my house with some flowers one fine day. Blur, I went, "Hmm? So nice! For what ah?" And that was when he told me that it had been a month since we first got together. He remembered the date we got together but I forgot. Whoops. =p

You see, The Husband is waaaay better with numbers and dates than I am. (Accountant much? =p) Plus, he has a great memory to boot. Me? I suck at remembering a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. I can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning! Uh huh, my memory is that bad. :-/

So, yes, a decade later, it looks like
I've done it again!! HAHA.

Kinda, but not really...

Cos The Husband has made plans with me for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary – the real one – at some place nice in town. (His initiative, not mine. How sweet. =D) But... I did consider doing something nice for him on the legal one, too, since the real anniversary is already on him instead of me. Oh well, looks like my plan's gotta wait for 3 July 2013 then. =p
