That black and white theme I put on two weeks ago *points below* doesn't seem to be doing my emo-psyche much good. In fact, things have been very un-Zen of late. Very El Depresso-fying.
Time for a change.
Sure, my latest design may not be as happy-happy-joy-joy as some of you may have predicted it to be based on the title of this post but... it'll have to do for now. Am still not in a very Barney-the-purple-dinosaur, go-Power-Puff-girls mood. Still, I guess it's not too bad for a half-hearted rush job. Heh.
You know, I really feel like those tiny flowers you see in the header. (I saw plenty of them while I was away on holiday back in May. So nice. Too bad I lost all the pics I took of them when my comp's HD died on me. Boo hoo.) Just standing there, being blown in the wind. Losing tiny bits of myself as I weather the storms of life.

Nowadays we read from left to right, so, to correctly capture the sequence, maybe the botak one should be on the far right...
Depression is an accurate reflection of real life, because truly, life sucks. So don't kick yourself for being depressed. We all are. Depression is realism. Optimism is self-deception. Life sucks most of the time, so why pretend otherwise?
True humanity lies not in seeking cosmetic happiness, but in putting on a brave face even in the midst of darkness...to strive for the continuity of life in general, even though our individual puny lives are doomed to death...

And yes. Depression is very bad but so much of the time, it's so true. And so real. And its effects are so great. I'm usually not a depressed person. I'm emo. But I'm not depressed. Haha.
I think you're a lot more glass-half-empty than I am. Not very healthy lah. As far as self-deception goes, at least it keeps us perky and happy.
