Malaysians pronounce Iraq as ee-ra'kh, right? (That was rhetorical. The answer is 'Right'.) But this Ah Beng wanna pandai-pandai go all Americano on me. Ish. Tak pernah kena dari I. Melampau betul. Aku mesti tunjuk power, bazuka dia balik.

Wah, didn't realize my pithy comment would result in all this...
Upon further investigation (read: googling Wikipedia) it seems that IKEA is actually an acronym and therefore, its pronunciation is not set in stone.
But we're right on Iraq and Iran though!

And in the post you responded to that caused me to blog about this, another comment leaver told me that she asked some Scandinavians and they said it's pronounced something like ee-kay-ah. Wheee! We're right! Haha.
