as i type.......my washing machine is whirling away....hahaha....i love washing machines...wonderful invention it is. one of the happiest things that happened to me was me winning a rm2000 washing machine from alamanda putrajaya for a slogan writing competition. hahaha... neva expected to win anything with my horrible writing skill.

nope. a structure..whatever engineering structure, is always designed with a safety factor to it. sometimes up to 2, 3 times its theoretical minimum requirement. so actually, by malaysian standards, to have a engineered structure fail....is highly highly unlikely. by flawless, i mean that from design concept until the completion of the project, there is absolutely no re-evaluation needed to the design. which is an almost impossible feat! structural conflicting with architectural lar, design optimization lar, counter-proposal designs lar.....etc etc.... it is a continuation and overlapping of headaches....
In the days before washing machines were invented people washed clothes by hand. You could try that.
All the scrubbing and drowning the clothes in water can be therapeutic and cathartic when you are emo-ing. Works for Por Por. Could work for you too. Maybe even better than washing machine.
