Yeah, you read right. My home internet is finally up and running! YES YES YES! After 2 WHOLE MONTHS of connection-less-ness, wei. -_-

I could so fly with all this pent up energy. Haha. The excitement of being able to log on to blogger, Nuffnang and innit (all three are addictive) after office hours once again is making me woozy... in a good way, of course. Ahhh, yes. All that sweet sweet online-ness and more, with my new (and working) WiFi modem router.
Nice leh. Haha.
This baby comes with 3-click easy setup, double-secured NAT/SPI firewall, encryption: WEP 64 bit/128 bit, WPA and WPA2, multiple DDNS domain names for FTP and web-sharing, as well as better wireless coverage with 802.11g++.

Oh, and apparently, it's Sirim and Streamyx approved. (You think real ah?) Go get it from Low Yat at only RM180. I think that's quite a fair price lah considering how much other brands cost.

See those pretty yellow lights all lined up in a neat row? Well, when they're lighted, I'm happy. Their steady, yellow lights make me happy. Cos when there's light that doesn't blink, there's connectivity. And when there's connectivity, there's surfing... and blogging, of course. (Duh.) So those pretty yellow lights, well, I'm gonna say that they're a good thing. A very good thing. =)

These few days Streamyx has been acting crazy wit me, it'll just disconnect for no reason and I know it has been trying to kill my blogging spirit so each time it disconnect, I'll sing "I will survive" then curse those mtfkers who can't gimme good service. :P

Aztech products are usually cheaper in its own range. But in terms of relibility....its so-so. Firmware gets corrupted easily....and its annoying. I encountered real bad experience with Aztech modem-router...So now switching to DLink. No problem this far...=)
BTW, WPA stands for Wi-Fi Protected Access & WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy). There are the security features.....As for FTP = file transfer protocol...

oh no...now i can never finished digging into your archive, God knows how deep is your archive in your original Tinki Talks, countless post on Keith Urban, HillSong, Planet Shakers, Rascal Flatts ......I am at November 2005 and i am beginning to wonder how deep is the pit :S

Aiyaa...You didnt ask earlier....anyhow, if in case its faulty, make sure you fast fast go change within the warranty period lor........and yeah, lightining protector will be essential. So use it to the max and hope that it spoilt during warranty window......
And you know wat, I changed 3 times during the 1 year warranty and after that.......Khong! So I took out the board and play around with the circuits....just for fun! =)
Perhaps, next time look out for Dlink or Linksys lor.....BTW, did you notice that it is the cheapest modem-router in the market?....Haha.....cheap things dont come good but good things never come cheap! "SALESMAN TALK liao" =P
