Perth, August '12: Dragon Palace, Northbridge, Perth

After an exciting morning (mostly for me and the kids) with the animals at Caversham Wildlife Park, we were hungryyyy. Papa had his heart set on dim sum (since early morning before we even left for Caversham @_@) so off we went to Dragon Palace, to satisfy the man's cravings.

But of course, convoying in two cars increases the risk of one or the other car getting lost along the way. So that's exactly what happened. Haha. But some in-car shouting by the boys, pakai-tembak navigating by The Husband and 15 minutes later, our car finally arrived at Dragon Palace.

Dragon Palace – restaurant and KTV lounge.

The others had already tucked into their meal by the time we got there and we were so hungry I just couldn't be bothered to take any pictures before I started stuffing my face so this was all I managed:

The last remaining bite of a sweet flour ball
with something inside and sesame seeds outside.

That was the best part of the meal for me. =p
(If you didn't know, I'm not a dim sum girl at all.)

But other than that, I ate two salted egg paus (weeeeird!) and a packet of lor mai kai-looking rice except it wasn't lor mai kai. It was called something else. The Husband ate his usual – braised chicken feet. YUCK. And he summore dare say the salted egg paus were disgusting and inedible. Look who just ate BIRD FEET, wei!

*gag*

We decided that this place wasn't all that good for dim sum. Totally cannot fight Shark's Fin in Melbourne or even Royal China in London. (Which reminds me, I haven't finished blogging about our 2010 holiday in Melbourne and our 2011 honeymoon in London. Haha. Whoops.) Having said that, we'll probably go somewhere else next time Papa needs a dim sum fix.
