My Generasi

The Husband showed me that video last night and I went totally happy-nostalgic with fond primary school memories. (Standard 6 – best time of my life! Sadly. Haha.) I could relate to EVERYTHING in there! The colour pencils... the Pepsi Cola... even the "main getah" cartwheel. Haha.

The Husband, on the other hand... no reaction whatsoever. -_-''' The man even went, "What's the hell is that??" when "main getah" was shown. Wth!? Deprived wei. See lah... That's what you get for not going to a co-ed school. You only get half the experience... and half the memories. #sadcase

Getah is such a girls game. That's what guys get for going to an all boy school. ;p

This video brings back so much good memories about primary and secondary school. Very very nostalgic. :)

– Yeah, man. It brought back lots of fond memories for me. Now? All kids play iPad. No more REAL games. All virtual nonsense. Pfft!

And yeah! ACILUT! They missed that out! And Batu Tujuh. And congkak. And all that biji getah nonsense we used to do by burning our friends. Haha.

aiyo popiah is the game..you need 3 things..legs to run, a big field to run and a tennis ball to run away from...

how we play it:
1) everyone gather around
2) one fella will throw the tennis ball mid air
3) one fella attempts to catch the tennis ball while the rest run for your life
4) fella with tennis ball will chase you down and whack you with the tennis ball (kena whack means you kena popiah)
5) tennis ball drop at your feet after you kena whack, so you pick up the ball
6) fella who whack now tennis ball-less runs for his life to avoid kena popiah
7) it will go on and on
