Blogging Out Of Kiasuness

Today, I parted ways with RM20 for 24 hours worth of WiFi that can be used over the span of 3 days. (Yes, I'm that desperate and Internet dependent. -_-) And you're reading about it here cos I just felt like I had to make it known to Cyberworld. And I'm blogging about it cos it means that I'm actively using the bytes I'm paying for, and I'll actually have something to show for it at the end of my stay. Heh.

LOL isn't there an option which you RM5+- for unlimited data (m'sia telco package) for a whole day?

O.O That's mighty expensive.

– Maxis isn't behaving. My data line has been screwed up since I got back from Aus.

ATTN: Lissa
– Indeed! And it was super slow, too!

– I was at Crystal Crown.

Hmmm it must have detected you being overseas for sometime, must miscalculated on your time being back, so its slacking =P I doubt you have the time to file complaints yet eh? Probably will be alright in few days =)

– Dunno why also lah, actually. Maxis says it's cos of my phone's new OS. -_-' And no, no time to file complaints. YET.

Haha, maxis will eventually go to the extend of saying it's just you... I (well my friend and I) had those issues, sometimes their data line is just being ridiculous, and by saying those, they will push you away from their customer service into another (that way it saves their hassle)

No worries, I'm sure when you find time, later on, it's going to be an interesting moment! =D

– That's what they said to me!!! Seriously! They said that it's MY phone. And that I should reset my whole mobile and try to log on to the Internet again. -_-''''

Hahaha! I kinda figured that'd be it... Very common, and lame excuse (I get that many times, regardless of what service I subscribe to)... You gotta endure for now... Resetting might help there, but if you know others having similar issues and had gotten it resolved, probably they could guide you (otherwise another method is to ask Uncle Google about it)

– I went again to Maxis today (an outlet in Gurney Plaza) and they said I need to go to their HQ to get it done cos they cannot do it where they are. -_- I'm getting very tired of this. They asked me to wipe out my mobile, right? I did it yesterday night. No diff. Still cannot use data line.

Jeffro said...

If you think that's bad, I had an issue with reloading my prepaid once, I had to travel to 3 different branches before getting the problem resolved...

I guess right now you don't really have the time to deal with them, (resetting usually works, but if it doesn't, it should be network issue) put it aside first for now... Don't let this tired you down; You got bigger plans to take care of =D

– So maybe it's "Time To Change" for us. Sigh. So fed up lah. Cos now I'm not attached to a company yet. So during the day, if I'm not at home, I don't have internet connection. At least if I'm at the office I can still get mails. But now... rawrrrr!!! >(

Hahaha! Well it's either "Time To Change" or "Give 'em More Time". Hmmm, mobile broadband there's only limited choice - Digi, Maxis or Celcom. You can probably try Digi out, if Maxis no longer provide you with the service you deserve... Or go apply for Internet access at home =P

– Whose line is "Give 'em More Time"!? I don't remember seeing/reading that anywhere. Hmmm.

And I do have Internet access at home. Haha. Couldn't live without it. Just that I also want Internet access when I'm on the go. =)
