I think lah. Some people say that I'm taxable, some people say I'm not. So I guess I'm going to go ahead and believe the people who tell me what I like to hear. That I'm NOT taxable! Woo hoo!

Based on my calculation you owe the tax man RM2. You forgot to add the pay from your former company.
But my calculations did not take into account EPF exemptions so maybe you are not taxable after all.
Anyway, if you owe the tax man peanuts the penalty is also peanuts, so never mind la.
I'll help you file your income tax when you come back to Penang. No charge. Pity you, in case you kena penalty.
If you salary is RM2500 and below then you are not taxable.

If your annual gross income is less or equal to RM 24,000, then you won't be tax. It is a good practice to submit your BE form though.

realised i didnt declare my jan/feb salary and bonus, coz i was still with my previous employer. then i went to hasil, they asked me to just write in, of which i did, but i forgot to put in my bonus payout in my letter. hahahaha.....damn i'm such a prawn!
