Was offered a pass to the star-studded MTV Asia Awards 2008 in Genting... and I passed it up. (Yes, I know. I have no brains. Smack me please. -_-) Sigh. So, what I ended up getting were MMS updates on the event alongside a 120-character limit of live commentary. (ARGH! So pathetic in comparison to what I could have had!)
Anyhew, I just thought I'd share some of the pics with you. In spite of my frustration at myself, I'm being nice to you guys. Just thought I'd point that out. *snicker* See how much I care? Now, show me some love! *crowd screams and does the Mexican wave* *blink blink* Sorry. Not enough sleep. Getting lame. -_- I'd better move on with the post before I embarrass myself further.

The MTV Asia Awards 2008 in Genting!
[NOTE: The times specified are the times at which the MMSes were delivered to me. They're not necessarily reflective of what actually goes on during the award show.]
2:48PM – While waiting to enter the red carpet area, my trusty messenger and on-ground reporter noticed some polar bears on the loose. Sometimes I don't understand what goes through some people's heads.
3:27PM – This was the line heading into the red carpet area. Apparently, the youngsters in line were real screamers. Haha. The shrilly, non-stop kind. *goosebumps*
6:41PM – On the red carpet at last! The Messenger got a pretty clear shot at Ryan of One Republic, and I'm willing to bet it's probably the only one that came out clear. That's why this was the only red carpet close-up that got sent my way. =p
6:49PM – Inside at last! And right in front of the stage, too! Not too shabby, I must say. Would have been thrilling to be there. Close enough to smell the sweet sweat of sex-kittens, PCD. (@_@ Sometimes I wonder if I should be worried about myself.)
8:30PM – Leona Lewis sings her heart out and moves the crowd with Bleeding Love and Better In Time. Drats. Now I really wish that I said 'yes' to that pass. ='(
That's it. That's the end of the line with my oh-so-brief recap of the MTV Asia Awards 2008 in Genting. Sigh. I should have been there. I should have been there. I should have been there. Argh, I really should have been there lah! Now, I shall leave you to mourn my stupidity, and blame it on temporary insanity. -_-

when I read the the title.. i was filled with two emotions... DAMN YOU GOT TO GO... and then i read the next line.. DAMN YOU DIDN'T GO!... which on another hand was a sigh of relief cause that meant i didn't have to be jealouuusss :P all the same you should've gone la!! what is the poor poor poor excuse of not going to see Jared Leto and goodness knows who else!!
