We've all been through patches of loneliness in our lives, haven't we? And, to be realistic, its only natural that loneliness strikes every one of us every once in awhile, isn't it? Nothing new, nobody exempted, no biggie. Thing is, when it does, you better be prepared to start seeing loneliness in just about everything.
Because, believe me, you will.

Another thing, a lot of people feel melancholy at this time of year especially in northern europe where we wake up to grey skies and ice, you have the sun and beaches, thats pretty good.

Its very easy to be lonely in the company of others.
A dead relationship or in a city full of strangers.
The most important thing is self love (no jokes)and that is different from ego.Self acceptance leads to inner peace and the realisation thet we are never alone.
I very much agree with that, actually. It's contentment that counts. And nobody can tell you to be content. And you can't pretend to be content. You just are... or you're not.
Plus, self-assured, confident, high self-esteemed people are more comfortable in their own skin; hence, they feel less lonely than others because they're healthy on the inside. (My assumption. I'm not a doc or a psych grad.)
But, nah. I'm not that lonely. It's just that I wish that I didn't have to even think about loneliness. I wasn't lonely to begin with. Not much anyways. It's just that that trolley got me thinking... and that's how I came up with that post.
It was only AFTER I posted that I started feeling lonely. HAHA. Weird.
