Story Of My Life

Dirty fingers. Ruffled hair. Dry eyes.
Aching back. Half asleep. Dead tired.

...and still at work.

– Awww. I know that line! Haha. Sounds somewhat familiar. =p

Missing you, too, babe! Hugs back!

– Haha. Yeah, I know. Trust me, I know. But work is such. Sometimes, we're called to make sacrifices. While I'm young, I might as well.

Plus, you can't put a price tag on pride in work lor.

Passion for the work is what is driving you now...and that is a good start to a great length of success....however just make sure your body gets enough replenishments and rest... and certainly you will be ready for greater challenges ahead...Im sure you wouldnt want to miss that....

And tell you what...you can print this out and show your boss when it comes to yearly appraisal....can negotiate for more increment hor....=P

Hey you! I'm different~! I go home around 7 on daily basis. If the excellency inside me feels some work could be better, or something little urgent I'll stay a few more hours. But you? Stay up to 1 or 2 am?? Sometimes bring work home somemore. That's is abuse already~! I like to be ur boss too~ Hehe~

Not only me, you wont listen to most ppl's advice. See how adrian's effort? U still.. cannot.. get... it! Haih~

– Ya lor. I do try to get enough sleep lah. Or else sure cannot tahan also. Getting old lah. Now body not so tahan lasak.

HAHA. I doubt it works that way lor. It's not how many hours you work but how great your work is. It is such in my line of work lah. It's not quantifiable. It's qualitative.

But true. I need an increment.

ATTN: Jacob. Y
– Haha. Abuse? No lah. But thing is I cannot finish my work ma. If can I also wish I had 7pm nights. That would be great for me. After September I should be more free already. Can't wait till that time.

Pam:
Quality usually comes when the mind is willing and the body is ready....Spending quality time is somewhat the love language of your work...

Jacob: Hi to you! *shaking hand with a new friend* She will definately get it...time will tell...

Cheers, Adrian =)

– Haha. Quality time with my work? That's funny. I never thought of it that way. But honestly, no leh. I dun think so. I think of it as sacrifice. I'd love to go home and rest if I could. Watch a couple of movies, blog, surf the net, read a good book, sip some tea, hang out with friends and mamak like I used to. But I can't. I don't have that luxury anymore. It's different now. And I know I don't have these years for long. Before I settle down and focus on family and all, this is the only time I have to fully invest in MY work, MY future, MY life, MY dream. After that... It's gone.

It sounds sad. But I know it'll happen. I salute women who balance both and provide the necessary focus to both parties but I doubt I'll be able to do that much. Not with Advertising.

ATTN: Adrian & Jacob
– And yes. Jacob, meet Adrian. Adrian, meet Jacob. Once again, Tinki Talks brings people together.

Ever heard of this phrase?

Work Harder...Play Harder!

Where is your 'play' part huh?
Play is somewhat the reward to work....its like filling up the love tank of 'Work' and ask 'Work" to work more so that 'Play' can plays harder! Get it??

Hahaha =)) *grins*

Pam Song said...

Eh, I play! Who say I dun play? You guys THINK I dun play only. I play harder than you guys do, I think. Just that I'm having so much fun during play time that I don't blog it. And anyways, my job is fun although sometimes, the deadlines are stressful. It balances out in the end anyways.
