I Love You

It's interesting how these three words only mean anything if the person saying them to you means anything to you at all.

Precisely, babe.

Somehow, lately...these words feel so foreign to me...but with you babe, it's LOVE all the way, I LOVE YOU, babe!

Cheers!

There's a season for everything...

"I love you". A wonderful, magical phrase. Melts hearts, moves souls. It's a powerful phrase. And yes, there's lots of responsibility in power.

– Well, yeah. Love IS everywhere.

Well, I guess it takes someone to say something in order to spur others to do something about it. We so often take these things for granted. We don't tell the people who mean so much to us how much we care for them. How much we love them.

– Oh, so true. With power comes great responsibility. Haha. But yeah. Seriously. Those words melt the hardest hearts. But when taken back or misused, they harden the softest, kindest, most innocent hearts as well.

Too many people throw the phrase around these days. They don't treat it with as much respect as they used to. It's sad. Words so sacred should never be tarnished in such ways.

ATTN: DelvC
– Eeyer. Why wait for others to say wor? Hello, you guy leh! Pursue lah! You are the one who chases. Not the one who gets chased leh. You salah direction di.

Haha. I lap you like so Singaporean liddat. I can almost imagine the "Pink! I like!" guy say it. =p

True..sometimes we convey love in another form that is not the love language of the other person....and that complicates thing. Need to polish the skill in within...

And I saw your comments to Delvc; hey! How about if a girl chases after a guy?....This is a modern world la, girls nowdays are bolder and dare to make the first move.Dont ask me how I know...but I knew...haha =P

Haha. We need to be attentive and read the people who matter to us well. If we fail to offer love in the ways that matter most to them, we fail to show them how much they matter to us. It's as simple as that.

Hmmm. About the pursuant girl, well, I don't believe in that lor. It's not about being old fashioned or anything. I believe that women have the right to choose their partners, they have the right to show the people they're interested in that they're interested. But I disagree with role-reversal. I'd prefer a man to lead the relationship and the choice to START a relationship should be extended towards the girl by the guy. He lead. She choose to follow if she feels the same for him. See?

Man and woman are made to be equal.........love could sparks at either sides.

Although Im not a fan of "woman going after a man" but I saw some real life cases happened that way. Interestingly some ladies did it that way.......

I wonder whats driving them to go against the conventional practice....haha =)

Pam Song said...

Oh definitely. I'm all for equality. No doubt about it. Big fan.

But we're not talking about love sparking. We're talking about the pursuit of the other 'spark-ed' person you're interested in. I'm not saying the girl can't show the guy she likes him or is interested. But the pursuit has to come from him lor. To me lah. It's just my preference. I'm a very straight forward girl actually. I tell people when they dress well, I tell them when they do nice things. So it's not about being shy and all. It's just a matter of choice and principle for me. Itu saja.

You know, I was thinking.

It's not the woman I don't salute... It's the man I don't respect.

Certainly, pursuant should usually comes from the man. It speaks a lot about the man's intentions. And it takes a lot of guts and adrenalins to say that!

However, what happens if the man has no feel for the girl but the lady takes the courage to confess that magic words? Isnt it to disrespect him too will be an unfair treatment?

Pam Song said...

No lah. I'm talking about couples who DO eventually get together. If they don't and nothing comes out of it, of COURSE it's justifiable that the guy doesn't pursue although the girl in interested wat. He got no feel for her, pursue for what!? Of course have to be fair ma.
