We Is Celebrating The Fader Day

Last night, Mee and I brought Dee for an early Father's Day night out. First there was dinner at Edo Ichi Japanese Cuisine, Island Plaza. That was followed by Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at Penang Island's least popular cinema, W Cinemax, just upstairs. But since censorship is all the rage these days *rolls eyes* I didn't take any pictures at W Cinemax. Didn't wanna risk getting caught by the authorities and be jailed under the unabolishable ISA law or some other devious anti-blogger, anti-freedom-of-speech law they cook up, ya know? -_- So all you get are the pictures we took at Edo Ichi Japanese Cuisine.

Hanging balls of light.

 Mee and Dee.

 Dee and I.

 We are family!

Yes, there was a considerable amount of
shameless camwhoring with my GF2 on timer. =p

The menu. Dee and I ordered a Tenderloin Teppan each.

Our full order. Mee ordered the cod.

 Mee's cod.

My Tenderloin Teppan with extra sauce. =D

As always, the food here was good. Dee and I really enjoyed our Tenderloin Teppan. The beef was perfectly cooked (no blood at all but still so tender!) and very tasty. The greens were also well seasoned without being overly cooked to mush. I would definitely make this order again. And again and again and again. =p

Dinner ended on a sweet note with ice cream. Unfortunately they didn't have many dessert options for us to choose from. No cakes, no nothing but ice cream. And only in two flavours – green tea and black sesame. -_-' So we just ordered one scoop of each to share.

Green Tea and Black Sesame ice cream.

Dee: Why on top got black black things wan? What's that??

Mee and Pam Song: *in unison* Sesame.

Dee: So why is it black??

Mee and Pam Song: *in unison* Because it's black sesame!!

Dee: ...as if I dunno.

Mee and Pam Song: -_-'''

Happy Early Fader Day, Dee. =)

My fav fav FAV Jap place of all time... in PG... is still Aji Noren (opp Island Plaza, row of shophse area facing the entrance to the apartments).

Authentic Jappy cuisine, nice n fresh, good-sized helpings and friendly, chatty staff. Yum yum!

If you've never been, give it a try there one day.

(nope, i do not hold any stock @ this outlet...)

Aji Noren is quite nice as well. It's at Prima Tanjung. Near the car park area.

You can try Delicious @ Straits Quay. Nice food and atmosphere. Loads of desserts to choose from =) Good reviews

– Hmmm... So odd. My mom has not heard of Aji Noren either. Gotta look out for it next time.

And yesss! My foodie dreams came true when Delicious finally opened at Straits Quay. Went on their second open day and by now, I've lost count. I used to frequent their Bangsar Village II outlet ever so often when I was working in KL. Not big on their desserts but... Salmon Angelhair for the win!! =D
