Kuala Lumpur, May '11: Road Trip With Pops And... Mops?

Wesak Day weekend came with a lot of pre-wedding anticipation for me. I was set to collect two gowns from KL, try out my first local spa with Mee, have my first mani-pedi combo, cough up a killer deposit for my white wedding gown, and hunt for wedding gifts from the folks to me (thick skin giler babi sial) and The Fiancé.

But like every blog-worthy road trip, this one began
with an eventful drive down the North-South Highway.

We made a stop at one of the rest areas along the highway for a much-needed pee break and bought fruits to munch along the way. But I was a lot more interested in what was ON the fruits.

Awww! So pretty, no??? =)

Then we climbed back into the car and continued on our journey. But after peeing, I was thirsty. And just when I decided to take a swig of water, it got bumpy. And that's when I busted my tongue on the bottle I was drinking from. -_-'''

NOTE: The next 3 pictures are not for the faint of heart.

Check out those taste buds yo! Haha.

 My blood. At one dab.

 =p''' <----- Bleeding tongue smiley!!!
HAHAHA. Shit, I'm so funny. HAHA.

But going into KL City was a lot less funny for me. And if you've been reading, you would have known that I was sooo incredibly frustrated during the drive into KL! Everybody refused to listen to me! Instead, they rather relied on their unreliable GPS-ES! ALL THREE OF 'EM!!! >(

Dee using PAPAGO! on his iPhone.

Mee using PAPAGO! on her iPhone.

 BMW's built-in GPS.

And... ALL THREE GPS WERE TALKING!!! AT THE SAME TIME!!! And if you know anything about women at all, you NEVER let THREE women talk at the same time!!! RAWR!!! Please... keep to the left lane. Please... turn left. In one. hundred. meters... please... turn right. Please... enter. the... round. about. Please... KILL! ME! NOW! AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!! >(

And then we arrived at our hotel. But that's a happy story. And happy stories are not to be in the same post as angry stories. So... till next time, dah-lings!! Mwah!
