That's why it is only pet owners who will ever find themselves being treated to heart-warming upward gazes filled with the unrestrained admiration, unending loyalty, unparalleled devotion, and unconditional love their pets feel for them.
I love these two pictures Mee captured of Princess back in mid-2008. Back when she was (only?) 13 and still a little less snowy around the snout and brows.

Hi Pam, so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose a member (pet dog) of the family. Our dog darkie died at home on boxing day. My brother was with her till she breathed her last. It was really emotional for him. Another dog (prince) went missing 2 years ago when he was really old and never returned. He was very attached to me so I was really sad at that time.
I find talking about their mischievousness and funny incidents when they were around helped. They may not be around but fond memories linger on in our minds/hearts. =)
Take care Pam! *hugs*

– You're right. It's nice talking about the good times. And it does help take away the pain of losing them. Thanks for stopping by to share your experience and help me through this time. Appreciate it. =)
