Perth, March '11: Making Full Use Of The Car

We all hopped into the car and took a drive around some of the closer suburbs on our 4th day in Perth. To look around, see new houses, and check out unexplored neighbourhoods. Here's what captured my attention along the way and ended up finding its place in my SD Card.

The Bell Tower on Riverside Drive.

Some road I can't remember.

At the beginning of our journey,
we saw nothing but Australian bushland.
Very barren ground that's nowhere close
to scenic or picturesque, if you didn't know.

*snore*

But after awhile, the sea came into view!

That's the sea glittering in the distance. And such a delight it was to behold after such a long drive with nothing but dry ground and ugly bushes for scenery right, left and center. =) Although I could hardly see it cos it felt like the Summer sun was having a field day boring laser-beam holes into my eyes. +_+

 A close-up.

And... after all that driving around, we drove some more
and headed back into town for some grocery shopping.

Subiaco.

The end.

– Yeah. Except for that dog, I didn't quite bump into any roos or koalas. =(

Pity. =/

– Yeah. Koalas are amazing creatures. They smell like hell but hug like heaven. =)

I'm neutral about roos. They're scary when they're big.
