It's taking me awhile to get used to this obstacle-free path I now see from my room to the front door. I never imagined that one night could bring so many changes. Small changes with great effects, no less. Now, there'll be no more newspapers to skip over, no more baby gate to cross over, and no more dog to trip over. Sigh. I hate the empty path already.
