Ada Orang Curi Pos Aku!

Went online to check my Technorati stats for a bit and found that a post of mine got linked to a site I'd never heard of before – txtin.com

Curious, I clicked on the link to check it out
...and ended up getting the shock of my life.

The buggers snitched my entire post!!! WORD FOR WORD, INCLUDING MY NAME! And to add insult to injury, they credited me as 'Connected Internet' (which, upon clicking, leads right to the original post that's right here on Tinki Talks). See!

'Connected Internet'?!
Like hello, I have a name, yo!

Grrrr.

Looked through a number of txtin.com's pages and found that it was just a blog that contains a collection of posts from random people in the blogosphere who've included the words 'SMS', 'texting', etc... into their posts.

Like, hellooooooo!!! Isn't there an unspoken rule out there that says that stealing posts from all over the place ISN'T considered blogging??? Geez! Talk about post piracy, man. So salah! And their page is so full of ads it's probably raking in millions and millions of USD via Google AdSense.

And for what?

FOR STEALING POSTS!

AARRGGGHHHH! MOOGGGOOKKKK!!!

*stab stab stab*

It's normal! Once my post got stolen by a blog specially for Mac stuffs!

My name was some French guys name which referred to my post. And when I checked out that name, there really was a guy with a blog in that name!

It was cool but frustrating at the same time

Yeah Me also had bad experience just like yours now..
feel like want to kick his/her ass and throw them to sg klang at back of my house..

But after many months I finally found one solution to reduce that punk content robber..Its a copyright signature that we insert from the very beginning of our feed.

But that is for wordpress..I'm not familiar with blogger but I think you should search that similar stuff too..

after that you can report to search engine to ban that website.

usually site like that wont last long..

SAME! and the most frustrating thing is that they named me UNKNOWN!

Fuck that! I've got my names all over my site and they call me UNKNOWN!?? Copy my post and didn't even make an effort to get my name??? Damn pissed la! I'm going to blog about it some time later.

*sorry for the vulgarities..*

HUHU..
just another splog in the making..
dats always happen, people steal other people things, somehow its ok if you blog on free platform bcoz u dun have to thing about the bandwitdth limit, but those who hosted on their own hosting, and that splog maker somehow using the image that hosted on ur hosting too. And your bandwidth will drastically increased...huhuh. that s*ck!

izzat,
another major issue with those splog thingie is your site being risk for a google slap..
Yup! google will find your duplicate content on others blog and that is a nightmare for many blogger or webmaster as your site/blog might whipped out from search engine if not drop way down is SERP.

I didn't know it could affect our google searches. -_-

– Wah. Semua also kena ah. Yeah, mine was frustrating too cos my name was IN THE POST and they can still call me 'Connected Internet'. o_O

ATTN: izzat
