classic: matchy-matchy, safe and elegant.. one of the rare reasons to get white heels!!.. - coloured heels with a white wedding dress need pizazz and punch.. not to say that you hv none..
ATTN: lydiascl – Haha. I like matchy-matchy! But so... well, in your words, "safe". -_- Not to mention difficult to find in silk/satin and a nice cut. Especially in Malaysia.
Coloured heels, on the other hand, are so quirky-funky! A splash of colour in an otherwise safe palette. I like that! But if I do decide on them, they've gotta exactly match my haven't-decided-yet colour scheme. So that could be a big headache, too.
ATTN: choco – Haha. This one's nice and classic. But it's not practical. A friend of mine suggested shoes without diamante detailing cos they tend to snag on the dress. Good point. So... gotta rethink this. Haha. Anyway, I was just referring to colour and not the particular shoe.
ATTN: Mirebella – Wooo. Soft gold. Sounds dreamy. Where did you get your shoes from?
And yeah. That's another problem. Hahaha. I haven't thought of the gown yet. Neither have we picked a date, unfortunately. Hahaha.
ATTN: Adrian Lim – I'm talking about colour leh.
ATTN: Lissa – No fair! You're biased cos you're traditional that way!
Was working on a budget coz I didn't want to spend stupid money to what is essentially a big party.. Hehehe.
Got mine from NineWest, and Its a peep toe with a large structured bow.. Loved it on sight and I even wear it on special occasions :) Bought my bridesmaids shoes from there too.
Mine was a long engagement in Asian terms but we tried to pick a date since we had around 20 pol coming from o/s.
The dress picking was the nightmare tho...everything was so OTT!
ATTN: Mirebella - Nine West is pretty expensive when the budget's in Ringgit Malaysia. Haha. But I know their style. Simple, classy, understated. Nice! I'm sure it was a good pick. :)
How long were you guys engaged without a plan? We'll have ppl flying into Msia for our wedding as well so it's best we decide soon. Doesn't help that they're mostly young and studying so they're dependent on mama's dime.
And I saw your pale gold wedding sari. It totally wasn't OTT. It was lovely!!
Nothing wrong with traditional! :P Besides, I've already decided that my wedding colours will be light cream and antique gold. >.> So my shoes will have to be light cream too. More difficult to find shoes in that colour. -.-
Nearly 2yrs...if my mum had her way, we would have got hitched in 6 months! :p
The sari was for the Indian traditional side, I wore the dress which had gold accents for the Chinese reception and my registration here. But thanks! Tried to stay far far away from being overdone and over made up..
ATTN: Mirebella - Wow! That's a LONG time! I wouldn't want to be engaged so long. We've been dating quite awhile already so... It'd be nice to not drag this any longer. Plus, I don't really believe in long engagements. I think it's unhealthy when couples start treating each other as spouses and have spousal expectations when they're just bf and gf. But that tends to happen with long engagements and relationships so... Haha. By that's just me lah. I think like your mom!!! =p
And I think you successfully pulled off the not-OTT look. Haha.
Thanks for thinking I'll make a nice bride. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that one!!

– You might as well say Havaianas liddat. -_-''' But OK! I want to see YOU wearing Nike for your wedding!
I think its awesome. Very classic bridal shoes.
I got mine in a soft gold :)
Purely depends what you'll be wearing tho... It could look too "heavy" . The fun begins! Have you set the date?
simple is nice....=)

ATTN: Adrian Lim
