Pain In The Butt. Like, Literally.

Was feeling weird in the tummy all afternoon yesterday and finally got sent in to the A&E (again) last night no thanks to sudden cramps that started soon after nightfall and just refused to let up. The hospital had the specialist who was handling my case come in a half hour later and I was soon wheeled into her clinic for more poking and prodding.

The doc checked me out, elicited a couple of painful yelps from me, ordered another blood test – to be carried out this Saturday morning – and gave me an extra week of MC before sending me back down to A&E for one last highlight of the night: a jab of super power painkillers, right into my butt. Whoopie. T_T

But of course, right? It just had to be my trypanophobia fate to have an already painful night end with a painful shot of painkillers straight into my right butt cheek. Sigh. Only consolation was that my tummy cramps were so, so very bad at the time, that I didn't even feel ANYTHING when the nurse administered the painkillers. Again, small mercies, I guess. :-/

Anyway, this hospital nonsense is starting to get reaaally painful. In the tummy, on the butt... and on the wallet. ='( Pray with me that the drama stops, ok? That the blood test tomorrow reaps good results, that the turmoil inside ends, and that my next (and hopefully final) appointment with the doc goes well. Thanks heaps!
