SONG TRIVIA: "When Love Takes You In" appeared on his album "Declaration" back in September of 2001. It was inspired by Steven Curtis Chapman's personal experience of adopting, when he adopted his first baby girl from China – Shaohannah.

If mere human love (of adopted parents, no less) can grow and develop to be so beautiful, true and steadfast, can you imagine how much more beautiful God's love is for us? I am amazed. Truly, His love takes my breath away. And it takes my breath away each and every single day of my life. If you've never experienced that, I pray you'll get to someday. That you'll come to know what it's like to have Him take your breath away, too.
