SCENARIO: I was assigned to shoot a video of Big Man Boss on behalf of another colleague. Problem is, Big Man Boss is a busy man. He's usually out, busy... or out. So we kinda made an appointment of sorts to shoot the video at a predetermined time. When the time came, I stupidly put my foot in my mouth. (Correction: I put BOTH feet into my mouth.)
Pam Song: Uh... Excuse me, Big Man Boss. You're ready to be shot, right? (Ahh, there goes the first foot.) Mr J says he'll shoot you later. (And in goes the second foot right on First Foot's heels.)

Eh? You are right brain? I think you are refering to the "spining lady test".....Right?!
Okay..if you want to control the spining direction....easy..try this; When you seem to see that the lady spins in one direction, try to look at the shadow underneath the lady's legs and quickly shift back your eyes to the lady's body....the direction will change.....It works pretty well for me....=)

CS: Haha...Paiseh, paiseh....not sure whether I gotta IQ of 160... but I found out that there are always 2 ways to look at things(could be problem)....we could find some ideas/solutions to it if we're willing to explore it in a different direction...Hehe =)

And yeah. The spinning lady test. And we discovered something. It's RIGGED!!! At first I thought it was cos I controlled the POV with the shadow thingy also. Then my colleague and I studied the image and we realised that it's on loop to spin certain ways for a certain duration! We can both see it change at the same time... means confirm di lah. It's a fluke. But the swap is very subdued so not everybody sees it wan. You have to pay attention.

huh?! My colleagues tried it too wor...when I saw it was spining clockwise, others saw it anticlockwise...You sure your are right brain har? Or yours wan needs some repair?! *blink blink* =P

I think it is call illusion, is depend where you focusm it change from turning one to another....
try to look at it again..... slowly focus on the leg, the standing one.... if you saw it is turning clockwise..... then tell yourself, if it is turning anti clockwise, how would the leg shows now?...
the theory beind is very simple..... the focus.... but some how all we have seen just the black shadow..... whether the leg that spin is at front or at the back... is depend what your eye is telling you....
As mention by andrian, they are few of us also doing the same thing.... when i saw it is turning clockwise.. some saw as anticlockwise..... hihi..

No lah. That's not true. It's a conn job lah. I thought I was damn power also when I realised I could see both ways. But then... a colleague and I studied the spinning lady and we realised that it's actually a FLIP! It actually DOES flip the other way. it's just that it's so subtle that it's difficult to notice. And since the person's brain already tells them that it's right (or left), they'll not notice it and still say that it's going right. We tested it out. We could stand facing the comp together and we just said, "Right!" or, "Left!" whenever we see it flip. We were ON TIME with each other EVERY TIME. See? Proven.
