Baby Talk

Baby's been talking gibberish. I just can't figure out what she's trying to tell me! Is she hungry or just being grumpy? Does she want her nappy changed or is she just overusing her baby-rights? And then I wondered – maybe she's just trying to be cute. But no... She's not being you're-so-cute-I-just-want-to-pinch-your-cheeks cute. She's being act-cute-and-I'll-smack-you-silly-before-biting-your-head-off kinda cute. And in real life, that really ain't that cute after all.

So, yeah. Baby and I have been having some communication problems lately. I just couldn't seem to get her to open up like she used to do. And it's not like it's just for a day. It's been this way for weeks now. I just hadn't had the time to really sit her down and set things right.

A week ago, I even thought she was getting better! She was behaving like she used to. Little did I know, it was temporary. Over the weekend, she went back to being the ill-behaved brat she had become. She shuts up at the wrong times and at others, she's wide open when she shouldn't be! It was getting increasingly frustrating for me as the days wore on. Behave, little girl!

So since I got the day off rather early today, I decided to head over to the doc to get her checked out – her usual one. Well, one doc lead me to another and before I knew it, I was on a doc hunt all across Subang. Ish. They all knew what was wrong with her but nobody wanted to handle her case. Said it wasn't their specialization. Pfft.

Well, finally, I found one who was willing to get down on his knees and get his hands dirty. The surgeon went to work. And baby turned out looking like this mid surgery.

Sigh. So so many sakit.

But at least Baby's talking now, right? At least we understand each other once again. So what if she's a little slower than she used to be? No biggie. I'll handle it. And so what if her voice is a tad lower than it used to be? I'll get used to it.

Baby, it's good having chatty ol' you back.
I'd hug you tight-tight if I could. Mwah!

ATTN: adrian
– What has talking and new voice got to do with the power window lah? See la. You guys are terrible. Everything so visual. Pay attention to what I SAY, not just what I SHOW.

ATTN: kirsten
– Bingo. Got my system changed. She sounds a little different but... oh well. Better than not having auto lock lah. =p

Haha. Congrats. You get a lolly. Please print this page and collect from me at our next meeting. =p

Quite sad, right? Girls know more. Haha. But it's a NEW WORLD we're living in. Girls go under the hood as much as guys do, too! No more sexism.

Haih. Sometimes it happens lor. My passengers get itchy fingers then rather than wait for me to open, they open first. Irritating.

pam, smack those itchy hands next time and sediakan a tabung towards baby's routine check up fund with a minimum requirement

that should help keep itchy hands at bay AND we are teachign them patience ;D

Waaa. Actually not a bad idea leh. Help me maintain Baby (especially since they're the ones ruining her performance most), and deter them from cacat-ing her. Also, since there's a minimum fee for that mistake, it may cause them not to wanna carpool with me also! Not bad idea. Haha. Bravo.
