Movie Night In

RULE OF THUMB WHEN CHOOSING A MOVIE:

When you can't find a good movie to laugh yourself silly,
find something that is sure to scare yourself shitless.

Tonight will be scare-myself-shitless night.

Will let you know how it goes.

Jonathan...you sound real corny there! LOL! But anyways, different ppl with different "Lo-Man-Tik" methods. Yeah, I do agree lar...Pam has a pretty smile =)

Scary movies are no longer scary these days, they are pretty much predictable...where are the "Rose Reds" of the millennium.

This doesn't relate to your post at all. But, have you seen the Prince & me?
You may like it.. it's so sweet.

*sigh*

– Whoa. Slow down there, boy. Haha. Thanks for the smile comment but you should really keep to just talking bout my entries. Haha. That's why I write, anyways. Haha. But thanks for saying that my entries are nice. Always good to know. =)

Oh, and a good day to you, too. Haha. I wonder why I can't stop laughing. Haha.

ATTN: Nisha
– HAHA. Thanks, babe. HAHA. Looks like there are lo-man-tik guys out there. Or at least those who try to be.

Awww. You like my smile, too? =p

Yeah, man. "Rose Reds" seem to be a dying breed when it comes to horror movies. Haha. These ones scare. They don't haunt. Wee hee hee. Good times, good times.

ATTN: Yong May
– Hmmm. That's the one with the teen flick girl, right? That actress. Uh... Dang, I can't remember her name. It's not coming to me. No, I don't believe I've watched it. Good, huh? Okay, will take your word for it. If it disappoints, I'm comin' after you. =p

ATTN: Yong May
– Julia Stiles. Now I know why I never bothered to watch it. I don't really fancy that woman. Haha. You know what this means, don't you? If it fails to impress, I'm DEFINITELY coming after you. Haha.

Aw man! Why not? I think she has the brains and the talent. Anyway, that doesn't matter, you'll be coming after me anyway... hah!

Pam Song said...

Brains? Julia Stiles? Got meh!? Bleh. Hmmm. I think it's cos I don't like her style of talking. Like very buat pandai like that. Haha. And she is soooooo expressionless la!

Yong May,

I agree with you. I love JS. Totally!

Pam,

Take a peek at a movie called "Mona Lisa Smile". You'll like it for a few reasons, one of them being that the movie is ALL about feminism and the fight for equality.

It stars really big names such as Julia Stiles (where she performed with exceptional grace and composure at her difficult role), Julia Roberts and Kirsten Dunst.

She's just awesome there.

The next movie you wanna take a peek at is '10 Things I hate about you'. You'll like this one too, as it is about Julia Stiles acting as Kat, the woman who believes in herself, does not "follow the crowd" and strives to excel (quite like yourself, I guess).

All movie stars have great movies and equally bad ones. Kevin Costner is a good example, Colin Farrell is another.

Judge not on her shitty performance in movies like Prince and Me and The Bourne Series.

I trust you'll learn to like her.

Jonathan Lim,

Way to go buddy. That's the right way to pick up chicks. In fact, do it more often. Get somebody to write you an automated script to crawl through the blogsphere, friendster and MySpace and broadcast your glorious contacts there.

The more pages, the more chance that one of them will eventually land a hit.

As they say, a million monkeys and a million typewriters.......

Ah SHIT!

'Jonathan',

Hey lady, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so tough on you.

*speechless*

Pam,

You just got yourself a lesbo admirer out of Singapore.

Congrates!

ATTN: Leon
– Haha. I watched it la. I still didn't like her, though. Perhaps hated her a little more. =p

And I watched 10 Things I Hate About You, too. Oh, and Save The Last Dance. The woman can't dance for nuts. The only thing worse than her dancing is her acting. *snicker*

Damn, I sound like a real b*tch. Your fault.

Sure, I agree that all movie stars have their Award Winning movies and barf worthy movies but... (to me) hers are all inclining towards the latter.

So, you agree that Prince & Me is a shitty movie? Haha. Whoopsie. Yong May had better start running. =p

ATTN: Leon & Yong May
– It's not just her so don't feel bad. I don't like Keira Knightley either. (Oh, look at that – another feminist that I've grown to hate.) She was dead whiny and uber boorish throughout. I'd say Julia Stiles met her match in this one.

ATTN: Leon AGAIN
– You said it – S.H.I.T.

Jonathan's a GIRL!? Dang.

*big gulp*

ATTN: delvc
– Not bad, huh? Haha. It will be the next Movie Kaki target. And wei. I heard that you blame me. Lousy bugger you. Wait till I cowabunga YOU! Hiah!

Leon said...

Pam,

Do you even know keira knightley?

Acting talents aside, she is one of the hottest babe of all times.

And the middle-english accent ... ooooooooohhhh the accent baby...

She's a totally awesome actress. She was blazing in Bend it Like Beckham, and she was totally, totally mesmerising in "Love Actually".

Forget Arthur, though. the whole movie stinks.

ooohhhh kiera... oooooohhhh

Leon said...

Pam,

And before you have any funny thoughts, pre-emptively, allow me to stress that I like good male actors equally the same:

Kevin Costner, Mel Gibson and to a certain extend, LEONardo dicarprio, among others.

Pam Song said...

No, I don't know Ms Knightley. But I know how I feel about her. And honestly, that's about all that matters to me. Heh.

I don't think she's hot. I'm not for that kinda girls. I prefer the demure classy looking women - Nicole Kidman, Kate Beckinsale, etc... You know? THAT look.

I'll give her the English accent though. That's nice. But... Uh, there are other actresses who do it better. I feel like her saliva's spraying everywhere when she talks.

Leonardo is good. I hated him in Titanic but the man can so act.

Leon said...

Yeah ...

I totally loved him in "The Aviator"

Pam Song said...

Yeah, he's so good huh? But I heard that in real life he's eccentric, too.

Ooo ooo! Other actors I think act well (that you didn't mention) are Johnny Depp and Cuba Gooding Jr.
