I Can't Think Right Now

I don't feel too good. My head's spinning, I feel like vomiting my guts out and the floor is swimming at my feet. Ugh. I blame my sleepless night. It's all its fault. Sigh.

And on a separate note altogether...

  • I wanna go back.
  • I wanna feel pride in what I do again.
  • I wanna feel like I'm useful... and that I'm not just some kind of stand in for a part that's not even mine to begin with.
  • I want ownership of my job.
  • I want my friends back.
  • I want my life back.

Whoah..theres a whole science to our sleep mechanism ... lets see what I can recall and how much i can out into..unscientific words? haha..like sleep theres 5 stages where when you are asleep you actually pass thru these stages and if you scan ur brainwaves you can see patterns in a graph over a set time frame...pretty interesting stuff...

Ever wondered why night is the time to sleep ? Why not morning right ? The hormone melatonin (yay I remembered!) is released when were exposed to darkness. It stops being released when sunlight enters our eyes (retina if you will)

heard of the term "power sleep" ? Well, you know you can actually sleep, say , 4 or 5 hours only but be alert and well rested instead of sleeping , say 8 hours or more?

wait im not going to explain that part of science to you. WAY too much. You'd have to pay me.

anyway...

the best way is to have a regular sleeping time and waking time.

cant sleep? dont think. But thats so im-freaking-possible ya ?

Hmm.... It would be nice to just be in a big park right now.

and all the happy little trees...
I'm walking in the park, lalala... Look, there's a bench in the park,
Lets sit on it....
Hey... I'm sitting.
You know... I sit like this all day in the office too...
I don't like my job, why on Earth did I choose to work there, what was I thinking?
You know, my boss is a real jerk.
I can't believe he assigned me that project.
Oh No! The deadline is in a few days!
What if I don't make it?
What will the people think of me in that conference room?
The Conference Room... There's a coffee machine in there.
I drink too much coffee.
I had all these goals for proper nutrition and I failed to keep up with them.
Why am I always a failure?
This is like that time in High School when I failed my exam.
High school - there was that guy in high school I really liked.
He didn't like me!
This feels so awful! Why didn't he like me!? Is something wrong with me?
WHY CANT I SLEEP?! There's got to be something wrong with me!

so....hahahaha....yea...one way to get ur mind to relax is

Think SLOWWW(scoffs* yea i know)

Lets say youre in ur bed and cant sleep with thoughts flying everywhere...say,

"Leon is such a jerk, I can't believe what he did last day at the mall, I can't believe he had the bloody balls to say that!"

Once you notice you're thinking this way, stop, and replay the thought in your head
very slowly:

Leeeyyaawwnn, izzzz , suuuuch, aaaahhh, jeeeerrrkkk........ eeeeeyyeeeee, caaan't
beelliieeeve....
After you replay the slowed down thought, you can play it over and over again even
slower, making it shorter and shorter every time, until it fades completely. ie:
Leon is such a jerk
Leon is such a...
Leon is.....
Jerk....
....
..
.
(If you wake up hating leon, then...i tak tahu la)
This will help coz it gives you something else to concentrate on rather than being frustrated and it puts focus on relaxing your mind, which will drive your thoughts into a positive direction, and prevent your thoughts from sporadically racing around everywhere.

About getting more sunlight. Get out during lunch time, or get up early in the moring, take a stroll or have lunch outdoors and take as much opporunity to get in as much sunlight as you can... you wanna get ur hormones right. hahaha...

In the end its all about ur own diciplining of yourself...

Reading actually takes strain away from ur brain of thinking. As you read you picture scenes and its all fed into you. You didnt have to think abou it. It actually makes you sleepy!

When the alarm rings, Sit straight up. its TIME to wake up.
