We decided to order two types of crabs. (If you're gonna do something, do it right. Make sure you go all out and put your whole heart into it. Why choose when you can have both?? =p) Our safe bet and regular order, which was the peng cim (i.e. baked mud crab with no seasoning, sauce, filling or whatsoever)...
...and the more flavourful Baked Crab with Salted Eggs.
The plain baked one was good. The salted egg one was better in comparison – tastier. But the best Baked Crab with Salted Eggs I've had (and the cheapest – RM24/kg) is still in Kepong. Gotta drag The Husband there one day lah. (The man doesn't like seafood.) It's been too long. Think the last time I went there was way back in 2010. Possibly earlier.
Anyway, as you can see from the picture above, we ordered other dishes, too, lah. Like vege and not-very-tasty Mee Tiau but... cummon. Seriously. Who cares about those when you've got CRABBBB, right??? =p
Me with the Baked Crab with Salted Eggs.
So, yes. That was our crab fest last night.
Should totally do it again sometime. Haha!
