Life has weird ways of playing games with us.

Just yesterday a friend of mine passionately drowned me in her semangat-ed (and very intense) criticism of BE@RBRICK™ and its signature squarish, cartoon bear look. Today, another friend actually spent a bomb on one of these highly collectible, little, designer toy-like thingies. "Limited edition from Levi's leh," he says.

What have I to say?

I say that SHE's right. It's ugly.
And that, my friends, is an understatement.

Yuck. Limited edition or not, it's ugly, dude.




And for RM169.00!? Please.

Crazy people with too much money to spend and absolutely no taste in bears. There are children all over the world who are dying of starvation and here you are, spending good, hard-earned money on ugly-looking, not-even-a-real-toy bears?! Something clearly isn't right. I guess it's true then. The education system needs revamping.

Our art classes have failed some of us terribly.

And it sure looks like our English lessons
don't rock too hard in the grammar department either.

Haha. You know what? It's pretty pathetic cos it seems like it's a "Buy 1 BE@RBRICK, Free 1 Levi's Tee" rather than a "Buy 1 Levi's Tee, FREE 1 BE@RBRICK". Who's leaching on who now? Haha. Well, whatever the case, it doesn't matter to me which one comes free with purchase of the other cos unless BOTH come without a price tag, I'm not getting either one by choice. RM169.00 has got to bring me something cooler than a spastic bear and a pretty plain white tee.

Oh well, I guess what they say is true then:
Money can't buy style... it only buys you ugly bears.
