Goodbye Gift Pack

Went out for a 'goodbye' lunch with reader-turned-friend, Lissa (she's the one leaving; not me =p) and to my ultimate shame, she got me a gift instead.

*facepalm*

But oh what a gift it was...

AESOPPPPPP!!! =D =D =D

I guess it really pays to know people who know people. =)

----------------

Dear Lissa,

Thanks for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G.
Next time around, I'm stuffing RM50 notes
into my jeans' back pocket for quick access. =p

Having said that, have a safe journey ahead
and be sure to have a blast playing with needles,
as well as cutting into people and stitching them
back up again in Sarawak! =D

XOXO,
Pam Song

p/s: Maybe you'll grow to enjoy Sarawakian coffee. =p

Glad you liked it! :)

I think the funniest bit was when you were trying to get to your purse while I paid for our Starbucks. HAHA! XD

Thanks for taking time to meet up, thanks for the best wishes... I'll keep you posted on everything that happens. ;)

Take care!

- Haha. That's why la. Never let anyone else hold your purse. Even if it's a baby bag. HAHA.

I hope Sarawak hasn't been disappointing so far and that you got the town you wanted with your friends instead of Bintulu. Don't forget to pop by every once in awhile to keep in touch, babe! Mwah!

Sorry it took me so long to reply!

Kuching feels like Penang.
Bintulu feels like Kluang.

Haih. I miss the city life. But so far, everything's all right. The people here are SO AMAZING. :) I'll be back soon. Take care! <3

– Haha. Don't worry about it.

Sounds like the townsfolk are being nice to you. Read on FB that you've been blessed by many angels along the way, too. That's great, babe. Take care and enjoy your time in Bintulu! God bless!

I finally got settled down in my room. The MO quarters are all full, so I got a room in the nurses' hostel instead. It's not too bad... was REALLY dirty when I first stepped in, but I had it cleaned up and all. :) It looks more homey now, but I can't wait to get my desk tomorrow. LOL.

I really have been blessed, so humbled by the experience. I start work next week, hopefully it'll be as good as the days leading up to it. :)

- I hope your days from here on out are even BETTER than those you've experienced! So... When you coming back next? Hahaha.

First day of work... A bit wobbly, like a newborn foal, but ok la... Will get steadier over time. :)

Coming back March 15th-19th. :) Hopefully will have time to meet up! :D

– Hahahaha. So soon??? What happened to "it's so far I have to fly I won't be able to come back often" bla bla bla? =p

But yes. Let me know and we'll see if we can work something out. Haha.

– Wahhh... hardcore. Back in 2002 my friend shipped his car from Sabah to KL for RM800. Haha. Has inflation taken place?

I wouldn't know. I'll check and see. :D
Btw. I got a dozen roses for my first day of work. <3 Same person. HAHA! Pampered sial. :P
