It Ain't Over Till I Say It's Over

So I died on Wednesday, got resurrected in the wrong attire on Thursday, and now I'm back with a vengeance this Friday! Woot woot!

YOUR BOYFRIEND BOUGHT ME THIS T-SHIRT.

Tim Tams: Really? He did?

Pam Song: You tell me. He's YOUR boyfriend! *GRIN*

Statement Tee Week Got Botched

Okay, so there wasn't a Wednesday Statement Tee. Why? Cos I was home. In bed. In my jammies. Resting. Was on MC yesterday. And, well, now there's no Thursday Statement Tee, too, cos... I, like, forgot. -_- (I kinda like what I'm wearing today, though. =p)

But this I do remember:
The doc told me that I need to...

(1) Take more sweets. My blood glucose levels are low so I'm supposed to pump up my sugar intake so I don't feel dizzy. Plus, the added sugar's supposed to help me gain the weight my body needs. Doc says take milk with sugar. Hmmm. Not cool. What if I get diabetes from this advice?!

(2) Sleep more. Haha. This is a toughie. But okay. I'll try. No working past midnight till after Christmas!

(3) Stress less. Hmmm. I don't think I'm very stressed, actually. Only every once in awhile when things get too crazy at work. And even then, it's pretty manageable.

(4) Eat more seafood and fried stuff. I've got unbelievably low cholesterol. I'm not kidding you. It's a 2.59mmol/L at the moment. That's waaay below what's normal, if you didn't know. That's why my cholesterol levels need to go up. The doc told me that low cholesterol leads to lower production of sex hormones, slower digestion of fat (THEN WHY AM I STILL NOT PUTTING ON WEIGHT?!) and slower formation of cell membranes. Sigh. But seafood's expensive!!! This calls for more Hokkien Mee (that's Prawn Mee for you KL folk) and lots of KFC!

Oh, and guess what she prescribed me?
Multivitamins. HAHAHA. Sweet-tasting,
tiny, little red ones that look glossy all over.

Awesome!

Pink Is The New Black

My blog is like, so freakin' awesome right now.

Like, seriously. Wanna know why? Cos, like, EVERYTHING MATCHES! Like, didn't you know already? Like, so the tene nene, right? So the tene nene for sure.

*wiggles eyebrows*

What my blog looked like before this post.

See how pretty in pink it is??? Beh tahan! So shweet!
That's why it, like, called for the bimbo treatment. =p

AD 1: LEADERBOARD (728 X 90)

Four parts to the LG Ice Cream KF350 ad.

I'm not exactly the biggest LG fan in town but this girlie one's actually lookin' kinda sweet to me right about now. Haha. (Plus, the ad pays so that makes everything alright. HAHA. *grin*) See? Bimbo talk for a bimbo phone that comes in bimbo colours. The equation seems just about right to me. =p

AD 2: SKYSCRAPER (160 X 300)

Three parts to the MDG2 ad.

Got me the latest MDG (that's short for Malaysian Dreamgirl, if you were too katak to know) ad. Pink and purple. Very girlie. Very nice. I hope Kenny Sia doesn't ruin the series for me again this time. (Okay okay, I'll be nice. No more stabs at the dude – I promise. *grin*)

Argh! Pink so 'in'!!!

Tuesday's Statement Tee

Decided on this one today.

SINGLE & AVAILABLE (TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLY)

Love the colours. So bright. So in-your-face. So rarr-rarr. I like! Got it when I was in Singapore two weekends ago for Asia Conference '08. (Which reminds me, I have yet to blog that event. -_-' Stress. So many things to say but so little time to say it. Sigh.)

p/s: STOP BEING DIRTY MINDED LAH YOU ALL! I even made sure that there was no 'lighting problems' when I took the shot. Think senget again and you're just proving that NAN REN ZHEN DE MEI YOU HAO DONG XI! ROAR!

Birthday '08 - Moisturise, Moisturise, Moisturise!

Okay, so I'm on a roll tonight.

In a pathetic attempt to catch up,
here's another birthday post fer ya. =p

-----------

This birthday has been an exceptionally 'rewarding' for me. Seriously. It's been awhile since I've felt so loved, cared for and remembered. And now... not only do I feel all that, I get to feel PAMPERED, too! Haha. Every single night, bay-beh! Every. Single. Night.

Looking at it from the outside with no idea of what's inside. (I've never actually stepped into a TNS store so I'm totally clueless about their product range. -_-)

Taking a little peek. Still no idea of what it is, by the way. =p

I like the box the gift came in.

Got the cream coloured ribbon off the box.

Had to untie the ribbon before I could get the box open. -_- I tell you ah, these people dunno how to wrap present wan. I'd so have tied the ribbon in a way that wouldn't require any untying whatsoever. You know, I don't know why they weren't taught that method in the first place. It's so easy! Even graveyard bone-collectors do it lah, okay. Seriously. *rolls eyes* So if they can do it, why can't high-class bath and beauty stores teach their employees to do it, too? RAWR!

*blink blink*

Sorry. Got carried away there a little.
It's just a personal pet peeve I've yet to get over.

ANYWAYS, check out my pressie!

The present I eventually discovered under all
those layers of wrapping and ribbons.

It smells like heaven.

I'd totally recommend it if you're looking for a good moisturiser. After use, it leaves your skin feeling unbelievably soft and silky... minus that greasy, sticky feeling! (@_@ Feels like I'm writing a corny advertorial, wei.) Too bad I can't tell you how much Heaven cost. (It was a gift, remember?) Go find out yourselves, okay? =p

Green Tea Purifiying Body Whip from TNS.

Oh oh! And apparently, refills come with a cash rebate. Some save-the-environment-let's-not-use-so-many-bottles project of sorts, I believe. Don't quite know what that means exactly but that's what I've been told. Go find out for yourselves, okay? (And then leave me a comment to lemmie know. *grin*)

Birthday '08 - My First 'Cake' This Year

Birthday cakes used to be a big deal when I was growing up. In fact, I think that to my mom, it still is. (It's just one of those things that didn't quite die on her.) But to me... it's sort of lost its thrill. I mean, I like cakes and all. But I wouldn't grumble, gripe and mope if I didn't have one. Guess things change when we grow up, huh? Looking back, I think my personal record was four cakes during one of my birthdays, actually. Haha. Kegilaan kan? Tapi masa tu kira syok juga. Haha. =p

ANYHEW, enough with the
grandmother stories and long-drawn intros.
(Ugh, I'm such a long-winded storyteller!)

2 minutes past the stroke of midnight on my birthday (more or less lah), I heard my first to-Pam-Song birthday song of the year – sung solo summore. Haha. And I got my first birthday 'cake'. =)

Haha. I absolutely love, love, love rock-hard
Vanilla ice-cream from Häagen-Dazs. Yums!!!

Too bad I only had a quarter spoonful of it. -_-'

p/s: My birthday posts seem never-ending to me. Howww??? I write and write and write but I'm still nowhere close to completing all my birthday posts before Christmas comes along. RAWR!

DATE OF DELIVERY: 20 November 2008
DAY OF DELIVERY: Thursday
TIME OF DELIVERY: Forgot liao

And what'd I get?
SUNFLOWERSSS!!!

So fresh!

They're so happy-happy-joy-joy lah. Haha. Brought on an instant smile as soon as I saw it at the receptionist's desk. (She started giving me weird looks after this bouquet. I think she thinks I'm a slut for having received flowers from more than one person at a time. -_-)

The order form. 5 stalks of sunflowers in a hand bouquet.

One of the 5 sunflowers in the bouquet.

Things is, not only did this darling remember my birthday, she even remembered our 8- or 9-year-old 'Phooi Phooi Song' tradition!

Look!

This girl quite long-winded. Need two cards
to complete her birthday message. Haha. =p

*heart melts*

Awww. Babes, I can't wait to see you, too!!!

And since you want to see what your bouquet
actually looked like, here's a full bouquet pic for you:

Nice hor??? I love it! Thanks again!
And here's my personal message to you:

And I mean every word of it. Thanks for being a blessing, babes. Just so you know, next year, I'd like to receive my gift from you. And not from my office receptionist or a delivery boy. =)

-----------

Again, I'm not getting paid for this BUT since I'm so, so very pleased with the two wonderful bouquets Love.com.my sent my way, I'm doing this for them:

Nah. Free promo, courtesy of Tinki Talks. =p

It's Statement Tee Week!

And I personally think that I'm off to a good start.

"Men are like lava lamps. Nice to look at but not very bright."

A very good start. Heh heh.
