Teeny Tiny Small Small

You won't believe how small the blogosphere is. Really. Remember that March Shopaholic News banner that I ripped from a webbie yesterday? The one that I wanted to know what font was used?

This one, you dodos.

Well, Karen Marie from that very webbie (wah, rhyme summore) called emmagem.com shop popped by and left me a comment! I was pretty surprised considering all I grabbed and published was the image. I'd already forgotten the site but amazingly... she still managed to find me! (See, this is why you should never ever talk bad about bloggers you don't know. They may come across your blog one day and then... that's it.)

Thank goodness she was totally nice about it. Told me about this other webbie she used to design the banner. It's called picnik.com and it's basically a photo editing site. (Probably made with noobs with zero Photoshop and Illustrator skills in mind. They make everything so simple! One click this, one click that, auto fix this, auto fix that... whallah! Magic.)

Anyhew, thanks to her, now I know the pink font is called Sue Ellen Francisco *click here to download for PC and Mac OS X* and its creator was Kimberly Geswein. Still dunno what font the white one is though. =( Ada tak siapa siapa tau?

So Tak Syok

I'm addicted to funky statement tees. I've got my fair share of them, and I'm definitely looking forward to growing my collection in the years to come. (Oprah always say that must have a dream then only can achieve wan.) I've already got my next hunting ground in sight.

*cough13days11hours22minutescough*

I heard that there are plenty there.
Tee hee. (Whoops. No pun intended.)

Wore this today. Don't ever EVER buy this t-shirt.
There are already waaay too many people I know
wearing this particular one. See also sien. Bleh.

So yeah, statement tees rock big time. I'm just the kind of girl for them. I always go for tees that say stuff I normally wouldn't. Haha. And yeah, that was actually all I wanted to say. Oh, and I wasn't kidding when I said don't buy this "this t-shirt looks better wet" tee.

DON'T BUY IT!!!

English Teacher's Son

It's been awhile since I last logged any of my conversations. (Not that nothing funny has happened, of course. Funny things always happen where I work.) I've just been too caught up with deadlines and brainstorming sessions the last month or so to log anything pointless and falala. Anyway, today's log is a good one. Haha. Enjoy.

*phone rings*

Ah Beng: *looks at screen and puts down phone without answering* Haiyo, this insurance guy is still calling me! Since like, January, okayyy. ARGH.

Pam Song: Haha. Normal lah. That's the only way they can secure a solid five-figure income wat.

Ah Beng: Mafulat, why are they so... continuation wan???

Pam Song: *frowns* Persistent, you mean.

English teacher's son summore.
Tsk tsk. Beh hiao paiseh.

Okay. Back to work. Cheers!

Help... Again.

Once again, the great Pam Song approaches her readers for help. (Haha. I think this is starting to become a habit. =p) Can somebody tell me what font this is? Preddy preddy pweaasseee?

p/s: If you can email it to me, even better.
Thank yeeewww! You rocketh. *grin*

Marié Digby Comes To Town

And me likes her songs! Haha.

The Boyfriend so kindly SMS-ed me the details and told me to GO GO GO for her showcase that's set to take place at 1-Utama this Wednesday night. (He likes her, too. *grumble grumble*) Haha. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I've got about 2 weeks to decide.

Made famous on YouTube sometime last year... (Very controversial lah, this Marié-Digby-meets-YouTube thingy. Go Google for backstage juice if you're into celebrity dirt and goss.) ... with her acoustic version of Rihanna's #1 hit "Umbrella" (ela ela ela eh eh eh), this 25-year-old, was-struggling artist is really starting to make it big. And like i said, SHE'S ONLY 25, OKAYYY. That makes her just one year older than I am. Sigh. Her rising fame and growing fortune is starting to me feel like a total loser. -_-

But I still like her songs.

I like the mood of this pic of Marié. Very Spring. Very first-love.
BUT... I feel her legs – the position – a bit tak betul liddat. Hmmm.

Anybody going?

Tee Hee

Shhh.

I like Mr Men & Little Miss. They make me happy.

Though I've never been there before. Haha.
So I guess it's: I hope I love London.

Don't forget! Hush now. =)

Got Time? Catch A Fish!

Hong Leong Bank has the fun-nest ads lah, I tell you. Two weeks ago, I had the fly swatter game on my page. I think it was called "Kiap Kiap" Fly or something. The game revolves around swatting flies for points. The more flies you manage to swat, the more points you collect. Haha. Pretty much pointless if you're not a Hong Leong Bank user (I think) but fun nonetheless.

This week, there's a new game. Check it out!

It's called "Flip Flop" Flippy.

Haha. So kiddy a game name. Reminds me of those tiny, little magnet fishes I used to 'catch' with my magnetic rod when I was younger. The one where the fish's mouth opens and closes while the fishes go around and around in a fake, battery operated pond.

Anyways... what you do in this game, is you fish for small, medium and big-sized fishes they call fondly refer to as Flippy. *rolls eyes* That's what happens when banker dudes try getting creative. =p The bigger the fish, the higher the points. Tip: Steer clear of electric eels. They usually come in pairs and boy, oh boy, such mean little things, they are. They make your fishing rod go woozy and slow down your reflexes. Here's a brief walk-through.

A twiggy fishing rod with a worm. Don't worry about the hook. It will automatically turn to face the direction of the fish nearest to it.

Once a fish is hooked, it'll start going all macarena on you. A mini almost-snowflake tattoo will also appear on your hand. When that happens, use your mouse to flick the fish upwards. It'll burst out of the water with a splash.

The eels I told you to steer clear of. Told ya they come in pairs. Just lift your rod and get the hook out of their way. If you fail to heed my warning...

...this is what happens. Tee hee.

Anyways, don't worry if you're not sure how the game is played. They've included a How-to-Fish page that loads BEFORE your game starts so there's really nothing to fret about. Haha. You're in Hong Leong Online's safe hands.

I hope the ad is still on my page. If it is, enjoy! If it isn't, go Google it. I'm sure you'll stumble upon it somewhere somehow. =)

p/s: I lied about the banker-dudes-being-creative part. Flippy probably came from Hong Leong Bank's creative agency. Tee hee.

My Social Life

So, the long-awaited holiday finally came – Labour Day '08. Only my second of many to come, of which I am currently experiencing (and enjoying) as a peanut-paid labourer in the work mill.

At 4:26AM.

-_-

Sigh. Can you believe that ah? I'm already more than 4 hours into my so-called no-work-allowed-today holiday and I've not had rest yet. I NEED REST! Cos that's what holidays are really about, right? Catching up on REST.

And on LIFE, of course.

Ah, but I have no life. At least not of late. Early mornings (relatively lah) and late nights; stress-filled days and sleepless nights. So easy to write but so blah in real life.

That pathetically shriveled chunk of text on the left is what I now call "my social life". It's my only form of interaction to the outside world at the mo, and it's the full extent of my contact with non-colleagues. All restricted to the confines of Google Mail.

Sad, I know. But what the hew. It beats not having any contact whatsoever, so I guess I'll live with it. Plus, the colourful Definitely Gang, Maybe Bang names all stacked atop one another kinda remind me that I've still got some semblance of a life. It keeps me buzzing inside. Sometimes, at least. Other times, I'm too busy wondering:

"All these people, so free to email here email there.
NO NEED TO WORK WAN AH???"

*cough cough*

Tee hee.

Anyways, this bunch can spam all they want today. My fingers are already poised and ready. And by morning, my mind would have already gotten the rest it needs. (Hopefully.) I'm up for a good dose of useless spamming. Why? COS IT'S A HOLIDAY TODAY, BAY-BEH!!!

HAPPY LABOUR DAY '08, guys!
(We might as well enjoy it while it lasts.)
