Surprise!!!

While at KLCC yesterday, I bumped into someone I never thought I'd ever meet in KL – it was my facialist-turn-friend, Jess!! Haha. She was down in KL for some CNY shopping and I was at KLCC on my swimsuit hunt so we ended up grabbing a drink – Iced Lemon Tea for her and a hot pot of Green Tea for me – and tucking in to Strawberry & Peach Pavlovas at The Apartment. =)

I hardly ever bump into any friends from out of town at the less fancy, more local malls like Sunway Pyramid or MidValley. Hmmm... Maybe I should start visiting KLCC more from now on. Haha.

Fishes Swim, Humans Walk

He tried forcing me into buying some really crotchy, butchy looking stuff from Speedo two nights back – it was so bad I couldn't even hold back my cringe even though the sales lady was looking at me – so I resisted and insisted that I'd get my own, ON my own. No side commentary, thank you.

So yesterday, I made a trip into KL City and headed for KLCC.

(It's closer to where I am now than the other malls I used to frequent.)

Headed straight for Parkson and bought the cheapest stuff I could find. (You know, in case I should win the anti-exercise war and end up wearing them once and never again. =p) My stash at the end of the day? A RM19.90 pair of goggles and a RM74.95 Ogival 2-piece (non-bikini style) swimwear.

Bwahahaha. This is hilarious! I was laughing throughout. And I can't believe they managed to keep the Maybelline style in this spoof. From the music and the beat, right down to the FVO and the technology run-through! It's so close to an original Maybelline ad, it's almost scary. Haha. Brilliant job though. BEST ANTI-MAKE-UP VIDEO EVERRRR!!!

Monday Blues? Monday Schmooes!

I'm feeling unusually happy this Monday. Why? Well... because after 1.5 incredibly loooong years of Penang standard haircuts (so very meh -_-), I finally had the chance to give my hair a good, stylish (hopefully – gotta check after the wash) snip at my usual KL hair salon with my regular hairstylist today! Wheeee! =D

The Husband's nephew and niece learn their ABCs and phonetics from colourful, cutesy-pie YouTube videos with catchy kiddie songs that rhyme, such as this:

Maybe I should take it up a notch, toss in some obscure French tune, add a dash of realism into the mix, and teach my kids their ABCs with this video instead. =p
