FEE FI FO FUM, I SMELL THE BLOOD OF SHORT ROYALTY!

You a dead man, Royalshortness!

What with THIS *points below* and all:

Hello, uncle. I know I've said that I'm on the yellow brick road to Bimbodom. And I know I'm already that much closer to getting a doctorate in the subject matter thanks to my mastering of of the 7-Step/7-Finger Lesson In Taking Pictures and my very recent purchase of uber-bimbo-powered pink stilettos. BUT...

You have to realise this one little detail:

Inside, I'm actually cool as cucumber,
smart as a black suit and tie,
and so totally un-conn-able wan.

AND YOU'RE RUINING MY UBER-COOL, SUPER-SMART, CONN-ME-NOT REPUTATION WITH THAT INNIT POST THAT SAYS I KENA PWNED WITH MY NAME BIG BIG UP FRONT!!!

Now, I'm gonna have to explain to people that I'm actually a genius *cough cough* who's only pretending to be a bimbo. Haiyo... Because of that Innit post, the Innit community probably thinks that I'm an all-out, full-fledged, no-holds-barred bimbo on the inside who's just pretending to write like a genius!

*slaps forehead*

YEN NA DEI now???

Shortness, you owe me big time lah. This is defamation. You better make it up to me and I suggest you make it up to me good with...

Hmmm...

Another link perhaps?

*grin*

April Fool's Day

I didn't pull a trick. I didn't mess with anybody's head. I didn't try anything funny. I played good girl and took pichas of scary skies.

I like the way the rain clouds came in like... well, like a dark cloud. (Not that I'm complaining, of course. I like it when nature takes the literal route to extremes.)

And those dark clouds, they moved real quickly, too! The wind was a total slave driver to it. You should have seen me after being out on the balcony for these pictures. I looked like Medusa's evil twin.

But it was so worth it.

Cos I captured glimpses of Armageddon in JPG.

Nice, no? I was only out on the balcony for less than 5 minutes. Just enough time for me to shoot, look like Medusa's evil twin and catch the first drops of rain. But even in that short time, the sky changed in colour and hue. No kidding. I think that's really cool. Haha. Check out the pics in succession and you'll see how the blue turns to grey. =)

p/s: I've come to realise that I'm a big fan of skies and clouds. I take pictures of them all the time. Haha.

Gotta Let It Out Somehow

I'm angry. I'm frustrated. And I'm ripping myself to shreds inside. I've got a hell of a lot of questions running through my mind. Questions that cloud the thoughts my head. But no answers to take them away. I'm tired. I'm sick of wanting to sleep and not being able to. But there's still so much to do. I want to talk about it. I want to rant and let it out. But I can't.

Cos there's nobody.

There's nobody who understands and listens without judgment. Nobody who hears what I say and just leaves it at that. Nobody who listens and just... well, listens. I don't want solutions. I don't need words of advice. What I want is comfort. And what I need right now, is support. But, whatever. That's not what 'this time' is about. Cos right now, the bottom line is this:

There's nobody.

Freakozoidzzz!

You all know I tengah stress like crazy at work over the past two days, right? Tengok tengok, other people in other cubicles are having the time of their lives playing a fool.

Think again.

CAN DRESS UP MANNEQUIN
FOR FUN SUMMORE???

Like, hello! Nothing better to do issit? Ish. I question the mental stability of these colleagues of mine sometimes. It's quite worrying to spend as many hours as I do with unstable characters who have nothing better to do with their time than play dress-up with half-bodied mannequins. -_-

Pam Is...

...very happy.
...giddy headed.
...smiling to herself as she types.
...cheery as a blue bird on a Sunday morning.
...obviously on an adrenaline high due to her lack of sleep the night before. Tee hee.

Plummeting

More like plummet-ED, actually.

Sigh.

Ah Beng and I just kena fire right-left-center. We got totally screwed. Screwed, creamed and crushed, more like it. Basically all things damaging and injury causing to our careers lah. No, wait. Looking back, it was more like climbing all the way up the Pinnacle of Screwness only to stand there looking down on Screwdom... and having every screw-up laugh at us cos we screwed up so bad. Take my word for it lah. We reached the ultimate point. We were at the I-swear-I-will-break-your-neck-and-step-on-your-head-till-your-brains
-meet-carpet-if-you-screw-up-anymore kind of screwed. No kidding.

Sigh.

There goes my (relatively) early night. And here I was thinking it was going to be an okay day for me on a whole. Pfft. Ok? More like totally KO-ed. 11 hours of pure brainstorming and copywriting down the drain. Totally crashed. Spiraled downhill. Ugh. So depressing.

Sigh.

Whatever lah.

No time to mull over the sequence of events or to cry over what went down. I need to get to work or I'm fried chicken by morning.

Sigh.

It's gonna be a long night.

p/s: My paragraphing for this post is like shit but I just don't have the strength to care anymore.

That Feeling

You know how you sometimes naturally expect some people to react in certain ways to certain things you do or don't do? And you know how sometimes they just... well, don't react in the ways you thought they would?

Well, of late, it's been happening to me. A lot.

And it really sucks to be in this position and not be able to do anything about it or say anything so that the people involved can make it better. Because technically, nothing's 'wrong'. You know? But then again, just cos nothing's wrong doesn't mean that everything's right. Cos nothing's right either.

Sigh.

I know it all boils down to me having expectations. Having the wrong expectations, to be exact. And I really hate it when this happens. Cos at the end of the day, it's only me who gets disappointed. It's me who gets hurt. It's me who becomes increasingly jaded. And nobody knows it, but me.

I mean, it's not like the parties involved have let you down or anything cos... well, it's not like they promised to do what you thought they would do and then didn't. Right? But it still feels like a huge let down. In some odd, illogical, deranged way.

But I don't want to have expectations. And seriously, I think I'm one of those with very little expectations – of myself and of others. I'm not kidding. I'm the kind of person who'd like to be offered more than she's being offered but on the inside, she doesn't expect that it'll happen. (That's the jaded part of me talking.) I'm that way.

BUT, I still end up getting disappointed.

So does that mean that I'm still expecting too much although I'm not expecting much? Should I beat myself over everything that's happened (or has not happened)? Should I forgo my happiness and be even less contented than I want to be even without expecting much?

What now?

Pam Song's Husband...

...according to an itchy-fingered, highly artsy-fied, design-based Art Director colleague who's pretty good with the pencil, looks like this:

I have the perfect one-word response
to this sketch: Eeeeeeyyyeerrrrrr...

Dun call this stranger my husband can or not???

So pantang, wei. Tak kenal pun!
Plus, my taste not that bad, okayyy.

CHOI! CHOI! CHOI!

p/s: Hmmm. I blame this sketch for my sudden bout of insomnia. Giving me nightmares. Haih. Such lousy timing. Early morning summore tomorrow. Sien ah if liddat. -_-
