Tom Yam Maggi Mee

Was walking along the aisles of TESCO, Seri Tanjung Pinang (latest hotspot, yo!) earlier tonight when I overheard a couple talking about Maggi Mee whilst grocery shopping. Here's what transpired between them:

Husband: *grabs a 5-in-1 pack of Maggi Mee in Tom Yam flavour*

Wife: Eh, don't eat Maggi Mee so much. Maggi Mee can cause cancer wan ah!!

Husband: *matter-of-fact-ly* Tom Yam is anti-cancer. *puts Maggi Mee into trolley and continues walking down the aisle*

HAHAHA. Good one.

Gotcha!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, behold!
The first death of the night! =D

A mosquito trapped between the metal strings of an electric racquet.

Close-up of said mosquito.

Murder weapon. Note the tiny mozzie stuck there.

Hmmm... It's starting to look like the hands-on, run-around-the-room, swipe-the-racquet method will still be the most effective against these winged enemies. And the most emotionally fulfilling one, too. BZZZT!! Ahhh... *evil grin*

Anyway, one down.

WHO WANTS TO BE NEXT?

Mwahahaha...

Killer Mosquitoes!!

They're all over the house!! Stupid pests! I've been back home for 2 hours and already, I've accumulated 6 bites. And counting! And each bite? It looks like THIS:

Mosquito bite with an itchy bump the size of a 20sen coin.

I think it's clear to see that
I scratched myself raw because of it.

T_______T

Changed My Mind

So I was initially feeling very excited about getting a haircut. And those positive feelings bubbling within me pretty much lasted throughout the haircut, too. In fact, the morning after, I was still feeling rather thrilled about having gone shorter than I've ever been in DECADES. But a mere 6 days later, I crumbled and finally admitted that I was regretting every inch of hair I cut off. Haha.

As you can see, I was doing some extreme yo-yo-ing between thinking this haircut is the best thing that has happened to me in donkey years... and asking myself, "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING, YOU MAD WOMAN!?!" @_@

But now... after giving myself some time to get used to having less hair on my head and actually seeing myself in some non-camwhore pictures taken by others, I've begun feeling better about my decision to rid myself of those extra inches. Slightly better, at least. In fact, I'm starting to think this is the perfect length I should keep my hair at. Short enough to leave it down and have it sit slightly above my shoulders, yet just long enough to tie and style minimally. =)

I can't believe that The Husband and I
ngam-ngam missed Christmas at Harrods. T_T

Mr & Mrs

Last week, The Husband and I were officially addressed as "Mr & Mrs". On paper. In black and white. For the very first time since we got married last month! =D

Mr & Mrs Bla Bla Bla.

It was on dear Soya Legs' wedding invitation that finally arrived on my desk at the end of last week. (This invitation makes it the last of the office lot who will be getting married this year. Phew!) So tak biasa for me to see someone else's name on the envelope instead of my own. Haha. =p

The wedding invitation.

Seems like just yesterday I wrote about her being engaged and now, she's getting married in less than 2 months! How exciting! And oh, how swiftly time flies!

Me with the card at the office via Photobooth.

Soya Legs ah... I can't wait for your wedding!! =D And since I'm going to be receiving an ang pow from you *cough cough* *hint hint* *reminder reminder* I'll make sure I even invest in a nice dress. And just so you know... that's a big fat honour when it comes to me. So far, I've never bought any dresses to wear especially for other people's weddings wan. You're the first! So, please ah... make it count. Like, literally. HAHAHA. =p

Low In Carbs, Low In Sugar And 99% Fat-Free

Think I'm talking about some kind of amazing meal-replacement drink that's new to the market? Think again. Haha. I'm referring to nature's very own natural isotonic drink that's been consumed for its healthy benefits for ages!

Coconut water from a roadside store located at the corner of Abu Siti Lane.

Coconut water. Good for replenishing body fluids, detoxing the body, controlling diabetes, boosting the immune system, balancing pH levels, and clearing those bad headaches Mama, the MIL, has been facing for days now.
