Hillsong United Was Here In KL!

And I was there with them! Haha.
Cos I had tickets for it.Woo hoo!

Quite gaya right, the ticket? I like.

Okay, fine. I only had ONE ticket. (HAVE TO PAY MONEY FOR IT WAN, OKAYYY!) But it just sounded more glam when I said it that way lah. Haiyo, stop being as anal as I am and just pay attention to my story can or not??? -_-

*big, big cheesy smile*

Tada!

I had sleep-two-hours-only-last-night eyes.

This was me sitting down for an emergency camwhore session just seconds before I left the office. Probably at about 7:58PM or so. (The event was set to start at 8:00PM. -_-) Felt obligated to indulge a little bit of Narcissism before entering the presence of God lah, you know? Haha. Kiddin'. Got held up at work cos... well, work sucks work's such lah. No surprise there when it comes to my job but...

The concert was so worth the rush there.

Here, here. Let you see a bit since you not so 'in',
hence, you didn't make it for the concert.

They played many of my favourite songs from their various albums. None But Jesus, All I Need Is You, All For Love and From The Inside Out to name a few. *playlist coded with these four songs, after this paragraph* (Yes, I prefer drowning myself in Worship songs rather than Praise ones when I'm on my own... or with a certain someone.) It was heavenly. If they ever pay us another visit next year, you guys have to, have to, have to go.

Oh, and since I'm no big-camera-wielding blogger like the other hi-fi folk I associate myself with in Blogger Land, just note that the pics you see here are but the results of me sneaking in some shots with my trusty mobile. If anything, I think they turned out pretty okay considering the bad lighting, the crowd I was standing in, and the fact that I was just using a camera phone to shoot. Cheers! =)

Fishing My Way To Made Of Honour

Remember the time I published a post regarding a Nuffnang advert on my page that had a fun fishing game? This one...

*click here to read the said post*

Well, getting hooked on it then will eventually pay off for me! (I hope lah. Haha.) You see, there's this free dinner-performance-movie thingy being organised by Nuffnang and I'm thinking to myself, "Heck, if it's free, try winning yourself a ticket and GO LAH!" (Bloody kiam siap and kiasu man me! I also cannot tahan myself.)

The movie I'll be watching (in an evening gown, no less)
IF Nuffnang plays nice and gives me tickets for the event.

So I fished like I never fished before. (It's true. I've never been fishing before. Think I'd like to try it someday though. Could be fun.) AND LOOK HOW MANY FISHES I CAUGHT!!!

23 small + 22 medium + 21 big = 66 fishes.

Not too bad for a girl who's not into
computer games and DOTA lah, right?

Haha.

My total score?

TADA!!!

*beams*

I am very, very, very pleased with myself. Hello, not easy okayyy! Especially not for a person like me whose only experience with computer games was Warcraft III way back in 2002. *shy* Whatever the case, I hope this score qualifies me for a pass lah. If not, so not worth the time I spent clicking on fishes and getting electrocuted by imaginary electric eels lor. Nuffnang, PLEASE GIMMIE A PASS!!!

p/s: Oh, and I think that Sat needs to
play more computer games. Tee hee. =p

Roaring My Way to Nuffnang Wild ‘Live’ Blogging

I asked if I should go. I was told by those who commented on my post regarding the Nuffnang Wild 'Live' Blogging event that I should cos it'd be fun... and that there would be freebies for all. Now, which true blue, born and bred Penangite ever deprives herself of good old-fashioned freebies, eh? NEVEERRRRR!!! *snort*

So here I am – being totally cheapskate – writing my entry for the party that PROMISES that I'll go home with my hands filled with freebies. -_- (Robb, I'm holding you accountable for this.)

Hmmm. Let's see...
Which animal shall I embody?

I say 'roar' every once in awhile so it would probably be most appropriate for me to be... a lioness. But lionesses aren't the coolest of creatures, if you ask me. Plus they way they hunt and feed doesn't fly with me. Where got girl hunt then guy eat first wan??? So salah! KENOT! I pantang. I've gotta be something that's less of a man-slave than a lioness.

Kitties? Well, I hate them. Branded or no branded (meaning pedigreed lah), I hate 'em all. I wanna run my car over them each time they cross my path so... I'm thinking kitties are a definite no-go. So then how? I want an animal that resembles who I am in real life. No butterfly, beetle, hedgehog nonsense, thankyouverymuch. I'd feel totally hypocritical.

I need an animal that's... spicy. You know? One that packs a punch but still looks devilishly tasty in her own skin. One that's plays hardball with blond hair on her head. One that's a walking, talking enigma. The kind of animal that's capable of walking the thin line between criminal and hero. I GOT IT!!! I. Wanna. Be. Catwoman.

"Call me Cat. Catwoman."

My favourite Catwoman of all time,
Michelle Pfeiffer, in Batman Returns.

Wow. So very many sexy she is. I like.

MEOW.

I thought that Halle Berry was a real lousy replica of the sex kitten with a taste for blood and death. Long live the days when Michelle Pfeiffer wore the Catwoman costume lah. Really. Though smaller-boobed with less flesh revealed, she rocked so much harder than Berry ever could.

Favourite line that Catwoman
(the Michelle Pfeiffer one)
says in Batman Returns:

"Honey, I'm home!"

*pause*

"Oh, I forgot, I'm not married."

*snicker*

This one's a classic. Haha.
Go go, GYNO-POWER!!!

Darn it. Now I can't wait to put on a glistening black bodysuit (with nothing but claws for accessories, of course). Thinking about it, my pale skin would so make bright red lipstick on a sly smile stand out. Haha. Plus, I've already got killer black stilettos all ready and rearing to go. (Or should I put on sexy black knee high boots instead???) Now all I need is a good, long gulp of Female Rage... and a sexy, feminism-soaked whip.

Wah. Hips damn kau big. But... can you believe I drew that!?

That kinda means that as for now, I've only
got the knee-high leather boots down pat.

*gulp*

Oh! But I'll need my
INVITE TO THE PARTY
first before I do any shopping, right? =p

Thank you, Nuffnang! Me loves you long time.
(Sigh. I'm such a suck-up it kills me sometimes.)

*GASP!*

It kills me? Well, then thank goodness I have 9 lives, right??? Haha. Being Catwoman totally rocks. (Made me totally bimbotic and lame, too. -_-) But whatever. I want my invite.

p/s: I'll probably go as a cat of sorts lah. Not necessarily Catwoman. If I had the time, I'd so find leather to dress myself up like her but... if I don't (which I think I probably won't), then I'll, uh... think of something. Bottom line is it's feline-ish. =p

THIS HAS GOT TO S.T.O.P!!!

Guys, I'm gonna say this once and I'm gonna say it loud and clear so that it'll finally hit you hard and get into those thick skulls of yours that seem to contain nothing but air when it comes to the matter I'm about to discuss. All you monkeys out there who prowl my blog and hound my MSN chat box... you had better listen up and listen good.

I. AM. NOT. GETTING. MARRIED.

So stop asking me if I'm going to get myself wedded soon. Stop asking me when 'my turn' will be. Stop asking me if I enjoyed 'the honeymoon' last week. Stop asking me anything that's even in the slightest bit associated to the topic of white gowns and lacy veils cos I'm pissed enough with the hounding I've received thus far.

And I've had more than enough, for long enough.

So, enough is enough. Just quit it, alright??? This is really getting on my nerves and it sure as hell isn't funny. Never was, if you must know. Hear this: If I'm to get married, I'll blog it. If I don't, then nothing's happening. It's that simple. So just STOP. Stop all of it. I'm NOT getting married. And that's final. Now, beat it.

"Another Her" Rides Off Into The Sunset

I'm so happy! Haha. I'm so, so very happy! It's ridiculous how insanely happy I am but... AARRRGHHHH!!! I! AM! SO! HAPPY!

First, it was her joy I celebrated back in late April this year. And now, it's another her I really care about who's just been proposed to this wonderful month of May! (A few hours ago, actually!) How very many awesome-ness is that??? Two of my best girl-friends are getting married – one in February and one in April (or is it May?) next year. 2009 will definitely be a year to celebrate love. (This year... not so much. Thank goodness. Then no need to worry about having to pay wedding taxes. =p)

Anyway, today's YOUR DAY (in more ways than one), babe. *wink wink* Congratulations! Am so very happy for you. His proposal marks the beginning of many things and many experiences even more wonderful than anything you've experienced before. And with YOUR mister, I'm sure he'll make sure of that. =)

Much love,
pamsong

To Rarr Or Not To Rarr?

It's official. The guys at Nuffnang are very much into playing dress-up. And I believe that it started with the Nuffnang First Birthday Bash Pajama Party that was held way back in March.

The one I wrote in for, got an invite for, and eventually attended. Yes, the one that I was willing to break my code of face-less-ness for, and the one I drove into KL in my jammies for. -_- (You should have seen the amount of slinky satin lingerie walking around on that night. Oh, and the amount of lace on the dance floor was simply appalling.)

Then there's the "Fish Your Way to a Dinner
at JW Marriott And a Movie Premiere" thingy
that's set to happen on the 12th of June 2008.

Dunno why but there was no special banner
or Nuffnang homepage dress-up for this one.

For this one, the dress-up game includes specific instructions for the ladies to show up in a formal evening gowns. o_O I haven't made my submission yet and knowing me, I'll probably only do it at the last possible moment. *slaps self* Have already saved a screenshot, though. Will probably make the post this weekend or something.

*eyes closed, fingers crossed*

And now there's the Nuffnang Wild 'Live' Blogging
(Powered by Maxis Broadband) vent-slash-event
that's set to take place on the 21st of June 2008.

It's super highlighted at the mo. (Think zebra stripes and leopard prints.) This *points below* is how it's rarr-ing up the Nuffnang pages right about now.

I don't know if I'm really up for the whole costume thing. Or for being animalistic for a whole night, for that matter. With my current schedule, I'm much keener on finishing work on time and then hitting the sack before 3am. -_- So now, the question for me is this: "To write in for tickets, or not to write in for tickets?"

Hmmm. Who's goin?

And if you're goin', what're you wearing?!

It Ain't Over Till It's Over

I really need to get out of this frame of mind.

Holiday mood like so super kau power in me now lah!

I Don't Like The Way The Net's Changing

I miss the days when all that downloading illegal free stuff off the Net took... was just one click. A. Single. Click. Where have those days gone??? Now we've got word verifications and other such cuba-nak-kreatif nonsense. I mean, it's bad enough if we're made to retype random words but... they've been putting out random letters for awhile now, too! How irritating. How totally nonsensical.

And then, a few weeks back, I stumbled upon
the king stink bomb of all word verifications.

*&@^#%@)!$∆߈

Does free downloading really
have to be this bothersome???

Like, hello... You think everybody has all the time in the world to look for spastic-looking kitty cats in a mess of letters and numbers and play matching-matching?! Please lah.

Time is money, my friend!
TIME IS MONEY!

Considering that in this day and age, a large majority if Net users consist of those who crawl the Net for quick, money-making methods... *cough-bloggerswhoblogformoney-cough* ...you think they wanna waste precious time choosing matching kitties?! Forget it! Summore have to pick the selected letters out and then retype them in a teeny-tiny box. Haih. What a waste of precious time.

The glorious reign of the single-click-download days are deeply missed by yours truly. (That kinda means that change isn't always good, huh? Dammit, I hate it when find myself contradicting myself in back-to-back posts. Sigh. I blame my lack of sleep. -_-)

Passion Smassion

My first day back at work came as a hard slap back to reality. I got full reminders of the big and little things that've come to make me lose my passion for working where I do. Maybe change is good. Hmmm. Something to think about.

Before It Dims

Okay. So it looks like sleeping's out of the picture for me right now... (Damn Insomnia! You'd think that with the same timezone and all, I'd not be jet-lagged. *rolls eyes*) ...so I might as well just start jotting down the things I wanna remember about my trip before they start dimming in my very-aged mind.

1. We watched four movies together. (Very expensive to do where I was over the last week, actually.) And shared ice-creams for two out of the four movies.

MOVIE 1: What Happens In Vegas.

What Happens in Vegas was the first of the lot and the BEST of the lot. Funny as hell, it's a definite must-watch for all romantic-comedy lovers out there.

MOVIE 2: Iron Man.

Iron Man was not as great as I thought it would be. Thought that it'd be a whole lot better. With more action. And more suspense. Expectation problem, I guess. Plus, I blame the bean bags. The very EXPENSIVE, back-breaking bean bags. -_-

MOVIE 3: Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

I thought this one was okay-funny; he thought it was lame. We saw the dude's kukujiao a number of times, though. That's PG-13 for you in a foreign land, boys and girls. PG-13.

MOVIE 4: Indiana Jones: Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

Total. Let. Down. They should have just quit when they were ahead. (Read: Before he got old, slow and flabby.) I was very disappointed. The movie lacked the boyish recklessness that was always typical of Indi. Blah.

2. We went to the ballet for John Cranko's romantic-comedy entitled Taming Of The Shrew.

And saw men in tights. Very colourful tights. Very tight colourful tights. *shiver runs up spine, leg shake, hair stand* So salah. Oh, and we ended up walking in late (the first act had already begun) cos we had to make a very important emergency stop back home. I'm calling it a patah-balik-tukar-baju-serta-merta-kerana-pakai-baju-salah stop. Haha. Got changed into something slightly more, uh, presentable to suit the occasion (and match up to its other better-dressed attendees). We were SOOO under-dressed before our quick-change lah, I tell you. (Think: Hoodies and rugged jeans. *shy*) So sua ku. Haha. At least we know better now.

Anyhew, that's about all for now. It's pretty late and I've got an early morning tomorrow. -_- More to come in due time, alright? Goodnight, guys. (Hopefully.)

Again and Again

In spite of the numerous reminders I've given regarding my take on tagging, you bloggers just don't seem to understand my immense hatred towards the habit. So I got tagged.

*grumble*

Again.

*grumble grumble*

Barely a day after the last one.
As you can see, I procrastinated.

*grin*

*frown*

*grumble grumble grumble*

-----------

1. What is the show/movie you hope to watch now?
A Walk To Remember. Am feeling up for a good dose of mush right about now.

2. Given the chance, what special ability/power would you like to have?
To change people's minds without them knowing it. And then have them think that they decided on their decision themselves. Heh.

3. What do you think of your brother(s)/sister(s)?
If I had any, I'm sure they would worship the ground I walk on and throw petals to pave the paths I take. And that would make them the most a-w-e-s-o-m-e-m-e-s-t brothers and sisters in the world.

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Venice. Italy. Paris. Barcelona. Switzerland. Germany. Rome. SHIT! Do I really have to choose?!

5. If you can have one dream to come true, what would it be?
To have a baby of my own who will never grow up, who absolutely adores me to bits.

6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Yes. Always.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most now?
My happiness.

8. If you win RM1 million, what would you do?
Invest it. In what? Dunno yet. I'm a total loser in the Foresight Department. Seriously.

9. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Not until they confess it first. Much as I hate to admit it, I'm fearful of the uncertain. And it sucks getting hurt. So... because of that, I'd never be the one who'd do anything first. That kind of emotional vulnerability really scares me.

10. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
Ooo. Check out the Operasi Train Jantan series. I also vaguely remember having written a post about this in TOTT. Can't remember what it was called already though. Sigh. That's what happens when you blog too much, too often.

11. Do you believe in "forever"?
Not unless it comes with a guarantee. I'm chicken shit when it comes to all this, remember?

12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Two-timing as*holes.

13. What is your ambition?
To be a good person in general. That includes being a good daughter, partner, mother, friend and confidante. Pau ka liao correct already lah.

14. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Hmmm. Say it to me... but say it nicely. I'm tough on the outside but fragile on the inside so be kind with your words.

15. What do you think is the most important in your life?
Loved ones.

16. Are you a shopaholic or not?
I think I could be. Maybe I am. Hmmm. If I had money to burn, I would totally be a shopaholic. I think. Dunno lah.

17. What is the thing that you really want now?
Job satisfaction. Time off. Another holiday. Steamboat dinner.

18. If you have a chance. Which part of your character you would like to change?
To be less of a procrastinator. Or maybe to be less concerned over the things I have no power to control or change.

19. Is there anything that you have done which you regret?
Hmmm. Am not really one to have regrets. At least not major ones lah. But if I really had to choose, I'd say it would be quitting dance. Shouldn't have stopped.

20. Are you hungry right now?
Yes. Very. Dinner time. With that ends this tag. Ciao.

Change Is Good

And with that, this... *points below* ...goes.

Sigh. I'm saddened somewhat. I liked this last banner. It always made me feel happy. Even on bad days. Who knows... I may revive it again someday should I feel the urge to inject a familiar burst of colour back into Tinki Talks. Haha. Otherwise, it's "Hello, little butterfly!"

Whipped this one up when I was feeling a little extra feminine whilst being away on holiday, I think. Looking back at it now, I realise – it's so very, very pink! And so very girlie! Haha. Gotta be cos I got babied a lot (understatement of the year) over the last 10 days so... I guess it kinda rubbed off on my design, too. Haha. Anyhew, change is good. It marks the beginning of something new. =)

I'm Back, Bay-Beh!

After my leave of absence from the Innit world (I know you missed me) and from blogging in general (for the most part of the last 10 days), I'm back with a vengeance. I'm already on my fourth post today... and counting!

C-R-A-P

Now that the traveling's all done with, the search for airport terminals is over and the mad dash for boarding gates is a distant thing of the past, it's time I allow myself to start feeling.

And I feel like crap.

I don't wanna be back here. I really don't. Getting on that plane (the one that was second to last) was difficult. (Not as difficult as I thought it would be but, pretty difficult nonetheless.) I don't think it really hit me at full force, though. Not till I actually touched down and took in the hazy skies of KL City. I don't want to go back to sharing phone conversations but not a life. To talking about meals but not over meals. I don't want it. Cos it sucks. It really does.

It's been 6 years and 4 months (to the day, actually) since the first "I love you" and out of all that time, we only got one year where we shared the same space? (And by space I mean state for a year and country for the rest of the time.) Pfft. Then it's no wonder I feel like crap! Oh well, I've dealt with it for a long time now. What's another few years... right? Right. It's lemon squeasy time.

Singapore BODOH!

Bodoh! Bodoh! Bodoh!

They changed the freaking gate! AT TIME OF BOARDING SUMMORE! So very last minute! Now I've gotta walk a kilometer or two just to get to the NEW, REVISED gate. And heck, I'm a 20-something-year-old at the prime of her life, okayyy. (Disagree and I'll keeel yeeewww!) What about all the old aunties and uncles who can't really walk that distance in such short a time??? So inconsiderate! BODOH!

Plus, if not for the old-slash-WRONG gate that was previously listed, I would have been able to relax comfortably, and charge my comp, while surfing, and blog-hopping, at a proper Laptop Access area! ARGH!!! So manyak bodoh lah ini mia tempat!

In Singapore... Again.

I'm back where I started – Singapore. And I'm feeling just so blah about it. I can't believe that my 10-day break in a land far, far away is over. HOW CAN??? So fast!? Shit la.

Sigh.

So I'm stuck in the airport once again. Terminal 2. And considering I landed here before the sun rose, it's no surprise that super quiet. Tak ada buzz at all. Ugh. But that's not the worst of it. I know that this buzz-less-ness isn't going to last cos I'm on the next connecting flight into KL. That means:
1) Arrive in KL.
2) Grab a cabbie and MAKE him fetch me home.
3) Shower while I charge my mobile.
4) Head out to brace the morning jam.
5) Work.
6) Work.
7) Work.
8) Work.
9) Work.
10) Head home.
11) Unpack.
12) Sleep.

And that's gonna be Monday for me.

Sigh. How lah liddat? My holiday and its effect on my total wellbeing and emotional health (che-wah, so Zen) is so going to go down the drain with the week I'm about to have. It hasn't officially started yet but I already know that it's going to be one hell of a killer. Shit, I'm stressed already! ARGH! I NEED ANOTHER HOLIDAY!!!

Newsflash!

I pooped! I finally pooped! Wheee!

*heaves sigh of relief*

Pangsai-ing has never been this fulfilling lah, I tell you. Only managed poop-hour ONCE since my arrival LAST FRIDAY NIGHT. That makes it ONE poop in SEVEN days, okayyy! No joke. Sucks to not be able to cosy up to strange potties I'm not used to. I pity my insides whenever I'm away on vacation. Sigh.

I'd include pictures to celebrate my "passing" but... I think it'd cost me the rest of my remaining 20 readers. (Even though I believe that I have real photogenic poop. I'm serious. No, I'm not. Yes, I am. Okay, maybe I am. This place is really getting to me.) Anyhew, It probably wouldn't be too wise a thing to do so I'm gonna give the pictures a miss. (And I still believe that I've got pretty poop.)

OKAY! That's enough crap for one night.
(Pun intended. Tee hee.)

As such, I hereby deem this update as really, really, REALLY good, blog-worthy news. It's something I wanna remember for all time. Maybe even tell my grandkids about it if it comes up in conversation some day. Cheers!

Down With Maxthon!!!

I hate the Maxthon browser lah, I tell you. Been using it for the last two posts I've written and... it's been driving my half insane! Takes me HOURS to publish (literally) because the lousy thing keeps messing with my html settings. It adds codes sesuka hati wan! And me being as anal as I am about these things, I can't just let them be. HAIH! Kanasai. In the end, it causes my posts to look really screwed up cos of the random spacing and paragraphing. ARRGGGHHHHH!!! Makes me post like a bloody amateur! I MISS FIREFOX!!!

Launderama

I found myself doing chores for the most part of yesterday and if you know me at all, you'd know that the only chore I actually LOVE doing (no kidding) is laundry. I love it lah. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE. IT.

Thank you for your concern
but no, I've not gone cuckoo.

No other chore even comes close to making me feel the way I do when I'm going at it with the soap suds and softeners, okay. No. Other. Chore. Mops, brooms and vaccum cleaners don't make me tingle on the inside. Neither do wet cloths, bathroom sponges and glass cleaners. Nuh-uh. The only one that does it for me is laundry.

*heart skips a beat*

And laundry ALWAYS includes ironing.

And, boy and girls, it's time I revealed a secret about myself. (It's really no biggie sharing secrets on Tinki Talks nowadays since I have like, only 20 readers left, no thanks to my very-pathetic publishing schedule. -_-)

I rock so hard at ironing you'd have thought
I was born with steam irons on both hands.

In short, that just means that:
I SOOOOO rock at ironing.
(Even if I do say so myself, thankyouverymuch.)

But hey, don't just take my word for it. Check out my handywork yourself! After all, they say that pictures speak a thousand words, right? =p

TADA!!!

Washed, dried and pressed in a single afternoon,
then arranged by colour and neatly spaced out.

TADA TADA!!!

Do I rock or do I rock lah, I ask you?

Maybe I should start running my own laundrette. I could even do it on the sly. Haha. PAMSONG - Copywriter by day, QUEEN WITH THE IRON BY NIGHT! (Hey, I like the ring to that.) Heck, for all you know, I could make history and become a millionaire who irons for her millions! Think can make money ah? Hmmm.

p/s: I managed to sneak in some photo-snapping time while waiting for the clothes to finish their cycle. Think I'm pretty happy with some of the shots I captured. Will post 'em up for your viewing pleasure when I'm back in town. *smacks self on forehead once more for forgetting card reader*

Logging Flaied Lice

I'm alive. Heh.

Betcha thought that since the blog's half dead (sigh, I know, it's pathetic) so am I. Well, you thought wrong. I was just too busy frying rice all of noon yesterday. With no onions. And no garlic. And no thick soya sauce. -_-

Only rice, luncheon meat and kicap soya cair.

See, it doesn't look so bad, right?
(Totally tasted like crap if you must know. -_-)

Oh, and I fried an egg (beautifully, I might add) and dropped it into the sink while cutting it into thin slices in preparation for using it as garnish-slash-serving deco. *rolls eyes* Go figure lah. Am damn suey the past few days. Anyways, more tomorrow. It's been an extremely long day. (Find out why tomorrow.) Nights.

Updates!

So, I'm there already. At the destination.
(Ahhh, and many of you still have no idea where I
said I'd be, right? But, hey. You don't have to know. =p)

Here's what's been happening:
  1. I sat in a car named Bertha.
  2. I had Domino's Hawaiian pizza. Yums.
  3. I slept in till it was 1pm.
  4. I got tickets for a dance-play by Shakespeare.
  5. I ate American cheesy hotdog on a cold afternoon. Another yums.
  6. I sat by the pier eating steaming hot chicken kebab. With double egg.
I took a walk along the river, under the stars. SO MANY!
  7. I heard dolphin cries and even saw splashes where it leapt out of the water. Too dark to see any flippers though.
  8. I saw black swans. And they were barely 3 feet away from me. How hard do I rock?
  9. I went shopping. And came home with a frying pan and a trolley bag.
  10. I watched two movies. One at a regular cinema and one at a bean bag theatre. The latter was unbelievably uncomfortable. So not worth the 30.00+ dollars spent.
  11. I met a Klang girl who speaks Aussie-styled England.
I met her brother who thinks my parents hate me cos they named me 'Ben'.
  12. I went grocery shopping and bought Red Rock Deli's. (Eat yer heart out KKJ!!!)
  13. I'm going to bed before midnight.

Not too bad for just 48 hours outta KL, huh? I shall add to this list when I've more time on my hands. For now, it's lights out, bay-beh!

p/s: Hold your horses when it comes to picture-heavy posts, okay? Brilliant me left the card reader back in KL so... no pics for you till I get home. -_- Sigh.

Just Cos You Can't See It Doesn't Mean It Doesn't Matter

I'm writing to complain about the woman I'm sitting right next to at the mo. She's 3 feet away from me and we're both seated side-by-side at the Laptop Access area in Terminal 1, Changi Airport, Singapore. (And no, I haven't started complaining yet.)

SHE HAS SUPER
BAD BREATH LOR!!!

I CAN SMELL IT FROM
MY DESK, OKAYYY!

Never bluff you.
(If only you could see how serious I am about this.)

I think I need to swap seats.
I feel a headache coming on.

-_-

EDIT at 1701 hours on 16 May 2008:

I MANAGED TO GRAB A PIC OF HER
BEFORE LEAVING TERMINAL 2!!!

The stripey lady who's leaning over her laptop. That's her.

See how angled my MacBook had to be? Poor me! Even then, the smell was greatly overpowering. And my prediction was accurate. I've got a splitting headache now, no thanks to her. -_-

"To Believe Or Not To Believe." That Is The Question.

Was watching The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Star World (I needed to find a way to while away 6 hours, remember?) and she played her studio audience Kobe Bryant's latest stunt that's just been uploaded to YouTube. The dude's otak like a bit tak center lah. Watch him jump over a speeding Aston Martin DB9 Volante!

Cool, right? BUT I don't quite buy it.
Being the skeptic I am, I'm wondering...
Did he really do it? Or didn't he do it?

You tell me.

Thing is... I don't really care if that's a good jump. And I'm definitely not a fan of Kobe Bryant or anything basketball-related. My interest in this video? That split-second dash of metallic grey. Sigh. The car's so much prettier than any jump he could possibly come up with lah, okayyy. And if he did get rammed over by the Aston, I'd be going, "Poor Aston, stupid Bryant." So there.

Instantaneousnesstestsity!

Wah! Writing a crap post that talks of nothing but an expensive lunch and supreme boredom really does yield results in a mere 12 minutes!

How can blogging not rock, I ask you???

Pam Song Can Fly

Hi, guys! This is Pam Song reporting to you live from Changi Airport, Singapore. JENG JENG! Shocked leh. At Tinki Talks, we always aim to keep the surprises coming.

*cough cough*

Okay, enough nonsense.

I'm writing to you as I stuff my face with an incredibly expensive O'Brien's Chicken & Bacon Triple Decker Toostie. (Hate the exhange rate now. It's killing me.) Didn't even order water to go with it. Siao. I'm not about to pay RM12.50 for a regular drink, okay. You think my phi sai (that's Hokkien for nose shit a.k.a booger) made of gold, ah?

So, expensive food aside, I'm bored. Very. And after sitting on my bum for the last hour or more doing nothing much other than stress over the Malaysia-Singapore exchange rate while clicking away at my Dashboard calculator (and writing this post, of course), I've still got another 6 hours to while away. SOMEBODY ENTERTAIN ME!!!

Don't We All Love Sneak Peeks? =p

YES! YES! YES!

Boys and girls, I'm heading home!

And so you know, I won't be seeing The Cu•bi•cle for the next 6 working days (and that's going to be da bomb). Know what that means? I'll tell you what. It means no JRs, no deadlines, no stress, no work, no traffic jams, no early mornings, and no late nights for a whole week and 2 days! How awesome is that, I ask you???

And me being the blog addict I am,
all that just translates into...

MORE BLOGGING!!!

You all wait lah. I'm gonna make a comeback. Just you wait. Haha. But no time for that just yet. I need to first get my butt off my work chair and head home to pack the night away. Excited-ness! Heck, my mind's going all Final Countdown already. Haha. Whoopie!

Boys Will Be Boys

And we, girls, will never understand why
they sometimes behave the way they do.

That's why we don't always bother trying.
We just shake our heads and roll our eyes.
There's less effort needed in that.

The Worst Of All Relationship Sins Is This:

Two-timing. Adultery. Cheating. Having flings. Infidelity. Disloyalty. Unfaithfulness. Extramarital affairs. Fooling around.

Same diff to me lah, you know?
Whatever you wanna call it,
it sounds like the same old shit to me.

And it's the biggest sin
in my books. By. Far.

Here's why.

1. You break God's heart when you disobey his commandments. This is breaking commandment #7.

2. Not only do you break God's heart, you also break the heart of the person you claim to love. And if you didn't know, broken hearts don't heal easily. And even if by some miraculous intervention they do heal, the scars you leave remain long after.

3. You disappoint your parents. Did they really raise a person of such poor character? Their lifetime investment in you along with everything they've ever tried to teach you, goes down the drain with this one act of foolishness. You just wasted all their time and effort.

4. Which leads me to my next point. You successfully prove to the world you're a person of VERY POOR CHARACTER.

5. You shame and humiliate your family and all its members with your wrong and foolish behaviour. You're singlehandedly dragging their good name and reputation through the mud with you.

6. Oh, and while we're at it, let's throw Lying into the equation. You break your promise of love. And if you're legally bound to your partner, you're breaking the vows you exchanged before man and God. You're nowhere near being a person of your word.

7. You're a weak person and you don't know what you want. If you love a person, you love them AND ONLY THEM. How can you say you love them if you've got someone on the side?! You either step on one boat or the other. NOT BOTH. Never both at the same time.

8. You're unbelievably narcissistic, selfish and self-centered. You think of nobody but yourself. Not the person you're cheating on your partner with (curse the both of you to a lifetime of super kau BO, man), and definitely not the person you're dating / married to.

9. You have very bad manners. Even if you find yourself getting attracted to another, can you not even be courteous enough to break-up with the person you're with BEFORE you jump aboard another lousy, ciplak sampan???

10. You're a person without a conscience. Have you no inner guide to what's right and what's wrong? Do you feel no guilt for your misbehaviour?? What happened to morals, standards, values and principles??? Have you really none of those!?

Those who live such lives deserve to have their bodies stabbed a hundred times with rusty nails, their digits chewed off by rabid dogs, their eyes pecked out by crows, and then have their genitals SAWED off and fed to hyenas.

And no, there's no loophole for you cheats out there. Flirting, sneaking in a smile or two, shy glances, secret messages and any form of emotional attachment towards another other than your better half (yes, they're a gazillion times better than you are if you're a cheat) IS STILL CHEATING. It's called Emotional Cheating, you slimeball. *stab stab stab*

Ultimate Favourite Pic Of The Day

NOTE: This post is dedicated to the one and only Ah Beng of The Cu•bi•cle who badly needs a perk-me-up on his first day back on the job. (Lucky bugger had Monday off.)

Thank goodness women will never ever find pictures
of themselves in such compromising positions.

Boys, it sucks being you. Tee hee. =p

Kena Lagi

I DON'T LIKE DOING TAGS
SO JUST STOP TAGGING ME!!!

You know, sometimes I wonder if I'll actually have to tattoo myself on the forehead before you guys understand. *grumble grumble* Haih!

So the story goes like this: I got tagged AGAIN. And this time, by an old college mate. (And by old I meant my reference to TIME and not to that said college mate, of course. Need to make it clear. This woman beat up someone before at the tender age of 17. When she was just a kuchi rat teenybopper. Dun play play. Summore I smaller sized than her. Sure kemek.)

The only reason I'm actually doing this is because it's her very FIRST tag. Must give face. Dun want her to beat me up to kill that psyched up blogger spirit within her. Haha. (Note: This is a fake laugh.)

So here I go.

RULES OF DA GAME: Each player of this game starts off with 15 weird things/habits/little known facts about themselves. At the end, the player will need to choose 10 people to be tagged and include a list their names. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own with 15 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. No tag backs! (The last three sentences didn't quite fly with me. I don't tag.)

15 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME

1. I arrange the clothes in my cupboard by colour.

2. I always get hungry in the middle of the night.

3. I like wrinkled groundnuts.

4. The only perencah I can't live without is salt.

5. My favourite finger is my left index finger.

6. I only drink RO or distilled water.

7. I can tell the difference between tap water and RO/distilled water just by tasting it. (I always knew I had superhuman abilities.)

8. I find it very difficult to sleep with the lights on.

9. I love pasting random stuff on my walls.

10. I'm a music addict.

11. I prefer Photoshop to Illustrator.

12. I prefer Illustrator to Freehand.

13. I used to collect stamps when I was a kid.

14. A primary schoolmate used to call me "Tau Chwee". (It's Hokkien for soya bean drink. -_-)

15. I don't back-up my files as often as I should (AND I SHOULD REALLY START DOING IT).

Done. Short and concise.

*beams*

Sigh.

One tag down, another one to go.

*grumble grumble grumble*

I Blame Monday

If anything that doesn't fly with me
happens today, Monday's getting the blame.

Hah!

Dear Mee,

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Thanks for always being you.
You rock many many. Hearts.

Home Sweet Home

It's good to be home. Feels good. Like my soul is at rest and at peace with the rest of the world. (So drama.) It just feels pleasantly comfortable and cozy. Almost like I'm moving in sync and in perfect harmony with my surroundings. And I like this feeling.

Sigh.

Too bad Home only lasts a night.

Did You Know That Shift Happens?

A shift has taken place.

Are you moving along with it? Or have you already been left behind? Because here's some news for you: you can't escape it. No matter how hard you try or how far you run. Shift happens.

If Can Say, Must Can Do!

Remember this picture?

It's from this post. And remember how I said I'd grow my flower collection throughout the week? (Wah, I quite smooth with words this time hor? Haha.) Well... it's Friday. The end of a full work-week.

TAKE LOOK AT MY FLOWERS AT HOME, YO!

My "collection" so far.

IF CAN SAY, MUST CAN DO!!!

And I got do do do for the past 4 days lor...

Nice or not? Haha. I like 'em lah. Too bad they don't smell as good as I wish they did. (Eustomas no smell wan.) =( If not I'd be stuffing them up my nose before bed every night. Haha. =p Anyhew, every self-arranged floral arrangement deserves a good top-view picha.

Love the way the green bleeds into the pink.

Always had a thing for tinted-petaled flowers. And tinted Eustomas? A double bonus on a stalk? *knees go weak* They're perfect! *frowns* Aiyah, dammit. Looking back, I think I should have dared myself silly and just stolen taken more. They'll end up in the trash by the weekend anyways. Why waste? I should do more to protect the environment! Recycle whenever I can! Flora (even used ones) shouldn't ever have to die without being fully appreciated!

-_-

But but but...
THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT WEEK!

Tee hee.

Plus, the bottom line is this:
I NOW HAVE FREE FLOWERS
IN MY BEDROOM!

Wheee!!!

How hard do I rock lah, I ask you?

Spontaneous test pic I took when I
was asked to help test out Dee's MMS.

Today was a good day. =)

Rhymarama

I've come to realise that
my readers-cum-blogger friends
all quite free wan. No joke. See...

Free or not, I ask you?! Can rhyme-rhyme summore! Wanted to respond to that on the spot but... since I HAVE A REAL JOB, that doesn't include partying with beach babes and stealing Size 5 flip flops, I couldn't even find the time to sneak in the 2 minutes I needed for this post. Sigh. -_-

Till now.

And then I naik boat also. Haha.
Let's bring on the rhymes, bay-beh!

Why he write in rhyme,
Cos Nigel got so much time.
He's feelin' oh-so-fine,
Cos he rhyme bout whose blog? Mine!

Haha. See also beh tahan. It's shameful the way I call myself a "writer" lah, I tell you. My for-fun rhyming is so outta whack these days! Thank goodness the rhyme-creator part of my brain still works when I'm on the job. Phew. =p

Check out the way I used to rhyme:

Blog Talk

Sometimes my interaction with bloggers from my end of the blogosphere scare me. I mean, the folk I meet are nice and all but... there are things you just never know till you're neck deep into the blogging world and its community.

Like the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of emails (aftermath of the Definitely Gang, Maybe Bang outing) that I get everyday just cos some people don't seem to ever have to work for a living. -_- I tell you, it's scary the way these people send emails lah. Really. This experience made me thank God for Gmail. Hotmail users sure die slow and painful deaths wan considering there's such a constant stream of mail coming in 24/7. I pity the foo.

Or like the ridiculous I-hate-you-you-hate-me blog posts and comments that bloggers target at one another. Every day, a new episode of the drama enfolds. Siao. Drama is tiring lah. But heck, I've got friends who tell me, "Eh Pam ah... I talk bad about you, you flame me lah. Increase my readership a bit, can ah?"

o_O

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO
THE BLOGOSPHERE, I ASK YOU???

You wish a person flames you, want a person to flame you, are asking someone to flame you and are begging to be flamed???

YEN NA DEI?!
Apa salah dengan you mia kapala?

But no matter what, nothing beats the weird MSN messages they gleefully send you for no good reason at all lah. Nothing. This particular super random one from joshuaoys is a definite keeper.

@_@

I sket lah, I tell you. I sket.

I can' t wait to show the screenshot to the grandkids. "Don't worry about those freaks. See? Grandma got weird friends, too!" Tee hee.

Buta Kena Fire

Saw that one of my posts made it to
the Top 10 on Innit again today.
(Yay! These days feng shui very good. =p)

My post, pathetically sitting at #8 with only 11 Nangs.

Only at #8 after half a day. Bleh.
But better than nothing lah, right?

So I ma click to check it out lor.

Today's post. *click here to read*

Look see, look see, I kena Dang. Sort of expected it already lah cos of you-know-who, but... Eh eh! Not by our resident Innit Dang-er wor! Must check out my other posts to see if I kena Dang by her before or not.

And then I saw it.

One of yesterday's posts. *click here to read*

This Innit post of mine also kena from her!
But that's not the juicy bit. Check this out...

This comment says: "your title itself is so ultra worthless. i don think anyone bother to TALK ABOUT You. i wished i can dang u like 200 times and make the good post up like RPK'S CASE. guys if you are nanging for her can u nang for better reasons? ie this link? nang for benefits. not for worthless entry. please thank you http://innit.nuffnang.com/view.php?id=9573 seriously do whatever you want. i do think your post is really stupid.and don worth the nangs."

She left a comment and... Wah! Buta kena. This CHILD doesn't even know head or tail about what my post was about, and she has the cheek to flame me for it? The nerve. Tsk tsk. So... me being me again, I felt it necessary that I respond to her comment.

This comment says: "Ooo. So much hatred in a girl. Tsk tsk. And gosh, hatred coupled with bad English? So not my cup of tea. Haha. Now I understand how you and Genevieve got into that tiff. Quite fighting cock, huh, you? Spunk is good... when the time is right. Unfortunately for you, this isn't that time. You aren't aware of what's going on in my circle of blogger friends so you obviously know nothing about what we speak about. It's an inside joke. Heh. And come on. Advertising another innit post here? Okay lah okay. Make little girl happy. I nang."

And I am a woman of my word.
When I say that I will Nang...

I. Will. Nang.

The Innit article that was "advertised" on my Innit post.

Personally, I'm not one who's too concerned about politics so, the article pretty much means nuts to me. (Heck, I can't even remember the last time I read the papers!) But... if it'll make baby beechybelle happy, I'll Nang it. For nobody but her. =)

Not a fan of screenshots? Think that they lie?
Read the original comments here.

p/s: I don't believe in feng shui. =p And is it wrong that I feel like saying, "Ang gu gu," right now ah? Cos, damn, I feel like saying it so badly. Haha. Cheers!

Funniest Find Of The Day

Guys, watch out for this kind of cha bo.

Totally cracked me up. Haha.
Damn difficult to hug, wei. Sakit! =p

Very Mysterious

I keep getting these.

Thin, clean cuts on my fingers.

WHY???

*pouts*

I don't even know how I get them. And dun think they small small, okayyy. These little things leave scars!!! *GRUNT!*

It's A Happy Day!

Not cos of work, of course.

*snort*

More like, cos of the latest aesthetic additions
to my workplace – FLOWERS! Tee hee. =p

(Yes, flowers make me so insanely happy, it's ridiculous.)

So nice, right? I think it's just gorgeous! This is so my type of floral arrangement. Very Spring. Contemporary. Fresh. Ahhh,... nice. Summore got Eustoma there. Sigh.

*heart melts*

I like! So much so that I, uh, hijacked some home.

*shy*

I'm sure they won't miss these little babies. So very insignificant when you consider the whole floral arrangement and the many other flowers it includes, right? =p

And the plan now?
My next course of action?

Well... Three stalks today. More stalks tomorrow! Haha. I'll grow my very own little floral arrangement right here at home. Tee hee.
