Remembering THE Dress

I started reminiscing about our wedding at the sight of my wedding gown hanging in a big black bag with a transparent front, in front of our bed, while back in Penang last weekend. My wedding gown. THE dress of my life. The one that will remain special to me no matter how drastically bridal fashion changes or how fat I get in 20 years.

So... I rummaged through the 80GB's worth of pictures in my comp – I really should start backing up my files – and found some pictures I took of the gown the night before I stashed it into its protective bag a little over 10 months ago, after I had it dry cleaned. Here are some of them. =)

It's only been a year and three days shy of a month since I wore it for the first time (for like, barely 6 hours -_-''') but... looking at the dress (and myself in the mirror), I don't think there's any way I can squeeze myself into it anymore. HAHA. No need to wait 20 years for the waistline to expand or the fat to pile on. =p Here are some actual day pics of me in it for old time's sake.

Yup. There's no way I can fit into this dress now.

*snorts*

p/s: I should really get to blogging about the wedding, shouldn't I? It's been awhile. So last year. *flips hair* HAHA.

How sure are you you will not be able to fit into that gown again? Once you've lost all the weight you've piled on, you'll get back into that dress and will look as pretty as you were on that day. :)

– I've watched enough E! News to know that losing all that weight is not going to be as easy as it is for celebrities with celebrity trainers. What if it never goes away!??? @_@ *gulp*

– Hahahaha. See the gown in person? No problem! See me IN the gown? A bit susah by the time you come back during CNY. Mana boleh masuk?? Hahahaha.

Hahhahah Pam...just wear it in the house! (at least still wearing it :P)

Alternatively, keep it nicely and pass it on to your daughter...it will be so sweet! :)

– In the house!? My husband will think he married a psycho. HAHAHA.

You know, as much as I think it's a nice dress, I don't think my daughter will wanna wear my "old" stuff. =(
