First stop? Lunch!
We considered having either simple Chicken Rice at Food Junction, Mid Valley or fancy-ish Sushi Zanmai, The Gardens beforehand but ended up walking into Nyonya Colours downstairs that was right next where we met up.
Nasi Kunyit & Curry Chicken with
Barley Ais Kurang Manis from Nyonya Colours.
This dish has significantly dropped in standard compared to the time I last had it, back in 2010. :-/ Doubt I'll be making another trip back. It is so not worth my RM9.80. Plus, the drinks are ridiculously priced. RM3 for a glass of iced barley?? You gotta be kidding me. I can buy a whole PACK of barley to barley myself to death for just 60sen!
Next stop? Even more expensive drinks! WTH.
But at least this time, it wasn't "just barley" so I guess we kinda tipu-ed ourselves into thinking it's more okay to pay 3x what we did on these drinks compared to what we spent on the barley earlier. -_-'''
Iced Lemon Tea (for her) and Iced Peach Tea (for me) from Austin Chase.
Ok, confession time: I don't know about her but I kinda ordered my drink without looking at the price. I mean, how much can Iced Peach Tea cost, right?? Even Starbucks sells their teas for under RM10, okay! Answer: Waaaay too much at Austin Chase. Haih. RM14 per cup. *slaps forehead* So bodoh. Not going back to this place anymore either. -_-'''
Cik Chatty Lass,
We need to find other places to hang out next time.
The Gardens is just out of our price range.
p/s: The falsies are fairly priced there though.
Go back for some when you need a refill. =p
