I really like the first part of the Chorus:

You know, sometimes I wonder if I'm actually doing what I should be doing. And if I'm good enough at what I've chosen to do. Or if I'm making enough of a difference doing it. And then I wonder if doing what I do could turn out to be the reason I'm not making enough of difference where I am in the first place.


Depressing succession of thoughts but they haunt me all the same whenever I find myself being reflective. And more often than not, at the end of Reflection Hour, I count myself falling short of my should-bes and could-bes in life. Self-bashing max. That leads to self-pity max max, too. Haih.

Gotta stay positive and start telling myself
that I'm "making this world so much more
than it would be without me in it."
