Yes, any piece of equipment not doin its work properly should be discarded. But before doing that, why dont you try Google Docs, as an alternative.

O_O chill Pam Chill *pats back*
everything will be alright.. just calm down.. nways, what you can do is set your word to save your document every 1 minute or 30 seconds (if i remember correctly) so that you work could be retrieved.. =)

YES! MAC ALL THE WAY!! LOL

Anyway, MS office for Mac is rather buggy, have you tried NeoOffice? It's an open source prog very similar to Office and it can save in MS doc formats too. The best part... It's free!

Unless you have a pirated version of the Mac (highly doubted)
You works are all automatically saved under Time Machine, so even if it crashes, it's saved,
If it were to fall, the harddrive is locked to save your work.
Trust me when I tell you it's not easy to loose work in Mac,
you probably am now used to it yet, that's all.

Agreed, what clarisse said was true. I am an apple product professional, lol. The Mac OS X Leopard runs perfectly well on macbook white and macbook aluminium. The time machine is indeed awesome. However i am not on Mac, as i can't run my engineering softwares on a Mac. More on linux and windows.

fuhh. chill weih you!

Joseph Li said...

You have to download it. Yup. I guess it supports docx, never try before though.

ATTN: Clarisse Teagen
– Haha. There are pirated Macs?! Whoa. Gotta be the Chinese who came up with that. Haha. They've pirated iPods. What's a MacBook to them? =p

And my OS doesn't come with Time Machine. My comp is the generation before that. -_-

And nah, it's not about not getting used to it. I don't know how to use PCs. I've been a Mac user since 1995. =)

ATTN: Zi Sheng
– My Mac's running on 10.4.11 so I guess that's where a huge chunk of the problem lies. It's almost been 3 years now since I got it.

ATTN: Victor Lee
– Cos... I don't believe in working on two comps. Haha. Everything's in one. And plus, I don't quite like the PC platform.

ATTN: CherliN :: Tzia
– Hahaha. Sket hor? Haha. Need anger management classes weh.

ATTN: Joseph Li
– Ooo. If it does then that's great!
