Rafting Metaphors

Those who row really hard...
always end up getting themselves drenched.

calvin and hobbes is without a doubt my most favorite comic. its one of the very very few comics that i actually read.... basically the only comics i read are the comic strips in thestar.

this image here, calvin hugging hobbes is my mostest most favorite pic of them. it is soooo warm and loving....just look at them.... anybody who reads calvin&hobbes will know that special relationship the two share. and this pic here encapsulates it all.

– Me, too. I love the way they take life. Without seriousness! All they care about is their odd relationship, their love for fun, and their chase for happiness. (That means squashing all girls.) =p

I wish I had a Hobbes. Sigh.

Propel, propel, propel your craft,
Unforcefully down the liquid solution.
Ecstatically, ecstatically, ecstatically, ecstatically,
Existence is merely an illusion.

– Haha. It's easier that way. It was a personal thought anyway. =p

Row hard and regret nothing......cos afterall its just a learning curve! Drenched once doesnt mean that it is the end of the world. As long as the soul lives, there is always a hope. =)

Literally, I wouldn't mind rowing hard and getting drenched.

*ah refreshing!* xD

But anyways, in that sense, well, be proud of having rowed as hard as you can :P

"Row hard and regret nothing."

I like that.

– I guess what you're saying is right. At least if you've rowed hard, you can say that you've given it all you've got, tried your best and if anything still goes awry, it was already out of your hands anyway.
