Did You Know?

That what you know but don't understand ends up getting you thinking too hard. What you know but can't speak of eventually drives you crazy. What you know but aren't supposed to know slowly kills you from the inside out. What you know but can't accept will hurt you. And that what you don't know... won't kill you.

I prefer to know even I dont understand cos I dont want to live in denial.= Dare to FACE it.

If I know but can't speak about it then I need the wisdom to speak on the right time. = Seeking opportunities to SPEAK OUT!

If I know but aren't supposed to know, then I need the wisdom to judge on how severe the condition is. = Seeking justice and fairness to Oneself.

If I know but I cant accept, then I need the wisdom to accept things that I could not change. = Matter of Acceptance.

God Bless! Cheers,Adrian =)

Now i know what I didn't know then.. however I don't know whether I can accept it or not.. But it'll be driving me crazy if I don't know about my acceptance on it.. Knowing what I didn't know, makes me go crazy as to why I did not know it earlier.. Now I know, that knowing that it will probably kill me soon enough, i will have to slowly learn to accept it.. so that it will not hurt me..

dear miss song,

as girls we seem to always already know something before something is known. Probably its a god-given instict we're built with to help us make decisions.

personally, i have a tendency to use this "knowing-the-full-on facts" as a reason/excuse to over-analyse and doubt what I had already felt I knew in the first place.

then comes the hardest part; that is to depart from what we know. in other words, detachment.it's totally hard for me to detach emotions from knowledge but in time, just let go. and let god. i find peace in that kind of knowing.

sherpeng

ps : knowing something and not knowing the entire thing is probably the bigGest sin among knowing.

– I know you don't know. =p

ATTN: Charlie
– Haha. Cos there is no point. =p

ATTN: choco
– Yeah. Sometimes I wish the same thing, too. Less painful that way.

ATTN: Adrian Lim
– Facing it. Sounds very macho. But could it be false bravado that borders on stupidity?

And when I say can't speak out, I mean can't speak out at all. Whatever the time. Doesn't matter. You can't speak of what you know. And seeking that balance within yourself isn't always easy.

ATTN: Jeffro
– You're as bad as I am. And summary: you're foncused. (Not a typo. =p) You don't know what you want. And after all that talking, you're still getting nowhere. Time to realise what you want.

ATTN: Choo Hwei Ming
– Haha. You rock, Hwei Ming.

ATTN: a girl who could be a Jessica
– I'd call that female intuition. =) And yes, it helps heaps. But it gets painful sometimes cos you FEEL it... but you can't speak of it cos is baseless.

And yes. Detachment's a bitch. Mind over matter – easier said than done. =(

Jeffro said...

I know what foncused means la.. Ooo.. Now I kick butt too? lol..

O_O You can tell.. *paiseh*
Seriously, i still don't know what I want.. a lil Foncused about my own life.. So trying every direction to know what's my style..

Sounding macho is not the core of the intention but to get to know the truth and to use whatever information at hand to make a SOUND decision that I will not regret later. So I will face it no matter what the outcome is; for better or for worst. At least I give myself a ‘kau tai’ (Cantonese).

If you can’t speak out, then you will have to find out why you can’t speak out. It is due to yourself or something else. I know it’s hard to find a balance. But as long as the breath holds, this is what we gotta learn. Cheers, Adrian =)

ATTN: Jeffro
– Haha. Yes. You kick butt in equally bad English as I do. Hahaha.

And of course can tell lah. Going round and round in circles ma. =p

ATTN: Adrian Lim
– But in most cases, there's no decision to be made. Just... have to learn to accept. That's the difficult part.

Jeffro said...

Wootz! We're English butt kickers!
Hmm.. it seems to have another meaning.. but wth.. dun care lar..

LOL.. its rather repeating the words with elaboration making it seems like a circle.. ^^

agree!!!and human hor, alwiz trying to seek the truth. When they found out, they wished they did not. SO MA FAN!!!

I think about the what you know but can't speak out is like secrets or something right? Hate keeping secrets for people. Really drives me crazy. I prefer not to remember, one ear in, another ear out. XD

Yes, English is killing me. T.T Why must learn all forms of sentences and identify them one? Ok la, right now still quite easy. Hehehe.

To utter the word of acceptance is so much easier than to really do it lor. You can think you accepted it but that FEELING, it is always there. Not easy la.

hard to please la human. know cannot, don't know also cannot. XD

ATTN: Jeffro
– Haha. TOGETHER GETHER WE RUIN ENGLAND!!! Haha.

ATTN: Andrew Chua
– Whoa. I really liked that. Good explanation and observation. Keep it up! Stuff like that helps me analyse my situation better. Thanks!

ATTN: Ping Ping
– Yes, we humans are bloody mafan. If we were just less 'brilliant', I think we'd be a lot happier.

And secrets... Well, can you really one ear in one ear out? I cannot really do that. I mean, sometimes for things I don't care about can lah. But if it's stuff like you know your friend kena rape but she refuses to tell anybody so in the end you HAVE to keep quiet, you really can one ear in one ear out meh?

Acceptance. More than just words and effort. The receiver must FEEL it too. You're right. That's the tough part.

Maybe we should move to the Amazons. Better life there. No need to work. Every day swing from the trees. Haha.

– But kalau popular, they earn big money wor.

Jeffro said...

HaH but high risk lor.. And it's a slow game.. I get bored even way before halfway through the game..

Pam Song said...

ATTN: Jeffro
– True. Kaki patah only, end of story.

And yeah. I get bored watching it, too. I know tennis is a slow game (compared to badminton and squash) but... I prefer it to football. Plus, the people are better looking. =p

Jeffro said...

haha.. Plus when watching it, the focus are on the players rite?? *winks* Unlike football, can't see a sheet till they slow down or when they scored.. that oso, not necessary can see the ones u wana see..

Pam Song said...

ATTN: Jeffro
– Yeah, that's true. And why watch men steal the limelight from one another when you can have close-ups of men in white pants. =p

Oh... And you know the way they bend when they're waiting for their opponent to serve? Haha. Can see backside. WAKAKAKAKA.

*blink blink*

I don't believe I just said that.

Jeffro said...

Pam Song said...

ATTN: Jeffro

And yes. YOUR fault.

Jeffro said...

LOL.. I dunno.. But I think I know they should stop wearing WHITE, coz someone's looking at their WHITES, instead of their plays..
