erm....i heard somewhere someone saying that the 1st minutes of facts are accurate, VERY accurate. Then the video turns into a speculation of what things could have been. In short, the last few minutes could be inaccurate.

Cos, yeah. It's a whole chunk of facts in the beginning, then everything from there onwards becomes mere educated guesses of what's to come. Sure, they could be inaccurate (we don't even know what'll happen tomorrow!) but at least it's opening up many eyes to what may (or may not) come.
I do not believe in everything in the video. No one can predict the future, unless u r a prophet, so no one can say for sure bu 2023, this and that will happen.
This is just one of those videos that tries to make future seems so brutal.
I have seen another video which predicted the world will end 2010, termed as the 2nd coming.

Anyway, the statistic of china uses the whole population of china. While it may look dominating at first, keep in mind most India and china is below the poverty line. Their literacy rate is much lower than the western world. It would take them at least another generation before we have to worry about them. They would also require technology transfer and that's where foreign companies come in. They invest in china generating jobs for everyone.
ATTN: Marc – It's a prediction based on whatever means they can use to dictate the future lor. Everybody knows that it's inaccurate. Remember how they said that the thought of there being a computer in every company being silly? Well, now ever PERSON has a computer.

The video was done by an American and the Americans fear everyone these days. The notion that someone could be more supreme than them just scares them.
For Malaysians, a strong China and a strong India would be good for us. We had a long tradition of trading with the two of them since the first traders appeared on the Malayan peninsula.
The higher their GDP, the more goods they can buy from us.
By the way, the theme music from the video is from the movie "The Last Mohican". It was a movie about the conquest of America by the British and French. Ironic.

And yes. I agree with how having China rise up as a superpower is to our benefit. Problem with China would be that they're very specialized with their jobs. All-rounded individuals are a little tougher to find. Indians are memang quite smart wan.
