Life's Too Short

Life's too short not to do some things.

Smell the flowers. Fly a kite. Count the stars. Watch the sunrise. Catch moonbeams. Race time. Do what you've always wanted but never dared to do. Cut class. Show up late. Steal a cookie. Speed. Play hard. Dream big. Be different. Smile. Take pictures. Shake hands. Meet new people. Visit new places. Try new things. Paint nails. Get haircuts. Take hour-long baths. Pamper yourself.

Life's too short not to know what you want.

Graduate. Be top of the class. Get that dream job. Climb the corporate ladder. Sit comfortably at the top. Find new associations. Keep old ones. Rekindle lost friendships. Find a man/woman. Fall in love. Stay in love. Get engaged. Plan a wedding. Get married. Buy a house. Build a home. Have kids. Retire young. Always have enough. Save some for next time. Have grandkids. Go for holidays. Be happy. Feel contented. Live happily ever after.

Life's too short not to live before
tomorrow becomes another Yesterday.

What happened to drinking Chai lattes from a Delhi hawker? Or bungee jumping off vines in the Amazon?

Or hang gliding over the Grand Canyon? Or whitewater rafting down Niagara falls?

;)

Life's too short to do the normal white picket fence routine I reckon...

God bless!

What is monkey? What is forest? What is what rhino? We ourselves are making our lives short, because, very soon, the earth will be gone. Coongratulations! Use more plastic bags and papers!

– Ooo. It's the IN thing these days. To talk Green and go Green, too. Very hangat. It's good that more ppl are aware of all this though. Ppl are getting too complacent with plastic and aluminium. It's time to put "recycling" and "conservation" back in the picture!

Let's say, the younger generation now has more awareness. I have a few laundry basket at home according to the category, plastic bottles, glass, tetra pak, aluminium can and papers stuff. My mother in law thought I became kalung guni, so I told her that it's for the recycling centre. But she doesn't like the idea, firstly, how much can we get by selling that to the recycling centre; secondly, to her, it's all sampah.

Yeah, that's why, everyday everybody throw away so much, and very soon, we are going to throw away the earth. Hence life is short, play hard. Even we have long life, there'll be no earth. All of us will be the "angkasawan"!

Well I guess it's one little step at a time. We can't change everyone, much as we want to. At least now we're more educated on global warming (thanks to Al Gore?) and know the ill effects of what we do and DON'T do.

And goodness that angkasawan issue is a laugh lah. They buat like so big deal but actually, he's just sitting in only. In-flight passenger. Bleh. Potong.

About the "up, up and away" thing, it ememplifies a chinese proverb: got money, you can hire even a ghost to push the grain grinder. :)

Ya lor. But I think it's pretty sad that we're making such a big deal about this when actually... it's not that much of an achievement. I mean if he actually FLEW the space shuttle then different lah. That wan I clap lah. But now... eeyer. This is like the Hokkien saying: "Gia lang eh kha chui cho bin" that literally means, "Take people's backside and put as your face."
