Not Again

It feels like I need a holiday to unwind from my holiday.

I'm so badly tired out from traveling that I don't even know if my brain'll be able to jump start itself for work tomorrow morning. Pfft. Tomorrow? Sorry, correction – in 5 and a half lousy hours. Sigh.

Where did my holiday go?

I'm tired, I'm tired, I'm tired.

But if I'm really all that tired, then why can't I seem to fall asleep? Grrr. Tossing and turning in bed is NOT sleep. It doesn't count. Maybe I should get a prescription of sleeping pills from my GP. Just so I don't feel bad popping one before bedtime to knock me out till the sun shines on my behind. Sigh.

Never try popping the sleeping pills. They have side effects...Honestly, all you need is a good sleep habit. its time to revamp your biological clock kua....you take care!

Haha. I doubt I will. But Actifed does sound pretty inviting. =p

No leh. Not my biological clock la. It's like I'm tired and all the past few nights I can sleep wan. Just dunno why now cannot sleep again. Like I have lapses of sleeplessness. Bleh.

if my sleep is disturbed and I cant go back to sleep, usually what I do is I get a cup of Milo & flip a book (light stuff) until I gradually doze off on the bed....its better than popping sleeping pills...

Never sit in front of your computer, cos u never know when to stop.......haha...I can work as part time sleep consultant liao =P

And true enough the sleeplessness that your encountered have to be replaced (I remembered I read it from Reader's Digest before)....Go home early and ZZZzzzzla....hahaha

I think most ppl have that problem, too. Not you alone. Where if sleep is disturbed, falling asleep again becomes a problem. What I usually do is just lie in bed till I do fall asleep again. That's IF I was already asleep wan lah. But if I haven't slept and I can't sleep, I usually get up.

I read that if you've bypassed a certain number of days, you won't be able to repay the sleep you lost. And in the long run, it shortens your lifespan. Scary.

Uh?! Reducing lifespan?......I barely have 6 hours of sleep for almost everyday. Then Im in big trouble liao....

No lah. No need so drama. It depends on your body. Some people need more, some people need less. Average is 8 but your body may not need as much in order to perform at its optimum. Relek lah.

Nolah..what drama....got shooting going on meh? Cheh.... =P

The keyword for me is disciplinela; I need to steal some bed time for studies. If not how to further studies...... However if I have the luxury to sleep more, I will.

You will definately know what I am talking about if you pursue your Master/ Phd while retaining your current job. Anyway knowledge = $$$....No regrets of chasing after it. It excites! =))

Haha. Well, then it's all worth your while. No turning back once you're on this path. Not that you want to, of course. =p

Anyway, I love sleeping, too. And I usually DO manage to sleep. It's just that of late, I seem to be having some problems. That's all. Haha. Maybe my bad college lifestyle is finally coming back to haunt me.

Of course, no turning back! Dreams made real when we are firm on the desire of the heart. I set my eyes on IEEE technical papers publishing....the sastifactions that money cant buy. =)

Regarding sleep....then I think you should try to nail down the rootcause of that predicament. Perhaps it could be caused by anxiety, bad diet or something else. Rectify it once it is known. Cheers, Adrian =)

Thing is I dunno what it is mah. Haha. That's the problem.

Anyway, you wanna write? Interesting. Have you started?

Hehe.....I published a paper in the IEEE conference before and it was a thrilling experience during the presentation in KL.
Another 3 more papers in the internal technical symposium with my previous company. Kinda love it!

So Im a writer in disguise....just a little different from yours. Let see if I can turn them into a book by the age of 40....=)

I see I see. Good on ya. Maybe one day I can say I know a published writer who's just a little older than I am.

Haha...nolah..I am just a tiny writer in the society...and still the glory belongs to God!

I must say that you are gifted with writing....so keep it up woman! =)
