Mogok!

I'm a heartbeat away from screaming the house down
before heading out to parade the streets with boards
in a full-fledged frustration-driven demonstration.

I've just been told that petrol prices is set to be on the rise again. Like helloooooo!?! We're not made of money, you know. I don't happen to poop gold bars. AARRRGGHHH! I can't take this.

*blink blink*

The first step to solving a problem is to realise that you have one. I've come to realise that running-out-of-Ringgit-driven stress management is not my forte. First Step – CHECK! This is why women like me need personal banking assistants and personal accoutants. Second Step – CHECK again! And before I digress too much...

Does anybody know if this is true?!

EDIT: Just so you know, I'll be using recycled cardboard cereal boxes for mogok boards. Save money. It's not like Petronas is gonna help me with that, right?

Haha. What in the world is a "more permanent visa"? Isn't a PR a PR and a visa a visa? What talking you? I'm lost.

*last warning* Dun make me feel stupid ahhhh...

Ten posts!? Who!? Who!? When?! Dun bluff lah. Haha. It's been ages since I've had ten posts a day okay. But it's good to know it's "creative" giving. =p What a compliment! *beams*

May you disagree with what i had in mind...
"I do not think that the Malaysian petrol prices should be subsidized."
It is so often that we take things for granted and never appreciated that our petrol price is actually controlled with a ceiling price. A price rise is still below the par value for market price.

Rumor is that the price should increase, after elections, national coffers can't afford to bleed even more rapidly with the international price of oil now going up, but the wisdom of all the policies undertaken to get into the mess we are in right now, is another different story..

Oh and by the way, hi =)

I will say that the gov should revoke the subsidy and lower down the taxes on imported cars! Stop protecting the national cars interest should they unable to perform! Car is the 2nd largest investment for a typical Malaysian and guess what?! For a price of a Wira that you are paying right now, you could actually buy a better car (with proper safety measures) in the US! Give and Take Policy!!!!

nobody answered the question..haha

its the price of GAS that is being proposed to increase...means LPG and that affects electric tariff... nothing to do wif cars....

anyway, its just a proposal...and i think the gov wont allow it so soon bcoz there was just an increase last year i think

Hey babe....

I miss you!

Our DPM said petrol price remains the same for the time being...but many are predicting that it will soars after election....

And hey...why does TNB has to rely on LPG to generate electricity? If LPG is no longer cheap, cari jalanla! =P

I think its time for TNB to look for other alternative natural renewable sources like photovoltaics technology, wind or heat transducers and convert them back to electricity......and on the same time keeps electricity cost at bay....

Time to be creative and innovative dudes!

If you do start pooping gold bars, can I watch?

biodiesel seems like a likely solution for automobiles and TNB.

Wow. That's a LOT of comments. Sorry for being MIA. It's been tough getting online over the past few days. Worry not, though. I'm back on Malaysian soil so Tinki Talks is BACK IN BUSINESS!!! Woo hoo! Haha.

ATTN: Jamie
– No, no, I didn't mention subsidy. I realise that we're heavily subsidized and so far, it's been great. But yes, we have terribly been taking this for granted. It's just that the hike is fine if the government reduces our other taxes... What happened to all that AFTA talk?! Empty promises banyak leh. And this time, I'm NOT blaming Petronas.

ATTN: Ernest Lee
– Hmmm. Hi. And thanks for the insight. Not that I'm looking forward to it coming to pass, of course. Do I know you?

ATTN: adrian
– Hah! We said the same thing. Cools. There's hope for you yet, Adrian Lim. *grin* Oh, the joys of being mean. =p

ATTN: Nick Chan
– No lah. Some did ma. Ernest did before you did. =p

And I'd propose that they reduce the price of cars taxes.

They say that the government is saying that it may happen cos the gas companies are making a big hoo-ha about it already. Nanti nanti they go on strike, we all die. Take LRT to work. =p

ATTN: Nisha
– Haha. So totally off tangent as always. I'm back!!! Mwahahaha. See ya soon.

ATTN: adrian 2
– What's LPG? And yes, TNB is taking all this too slowly. With resources running out and prices going up, alternative means of energy needs to be found. Go green, for one.

ATTN: luxen
– Haha. Like, uh, no. Why? Do YOU poop gold bars? And who are you anyways? A little private to watch ppl poop, right? Not to mention more than a little gross.

ATTN: Jamie 2
– Biodiesel isn't enough I think. We have to go really way out like go back to solar and all that. Things that can never run out.

Yeah, my grandma was pretty touched. I think she enjoyed herself. All's good. She almost wanted to call the dinner off so many times cos she was under the weather. I guess now she's glad she didn't. =)

It has been quite sometime we don’t see her in church. Hope that she will grow strong and joins us back in the services. To God be the glory! =)

Pam Song said...

Yeah, she's been under the weather. We dun want her to overexert also. Her condition cannot be worsened. Very bad for her if it does. So, better safe than sorry.
