Happy Birthday To Yooooouuu!!!

Got me free cake today. It was really good. Secret recipe wan. (I know cos I caught sight of the box. Haha. Mesti tau-tau lah.) Dunno flavour, though. But nevertheless, it was definitely yums-worthy!

I love it when people get old.

*grin*

I reap the benefits.

------------

On a different note, some other people just get plain weird once they hit 28. And when that (and by that I mean OLD AGE) happens, conversations like these take place.

Friend: Eh, that wan ice cream cake leh.

pamsong: No lah. No ice-cream also.

Friend: Yes! It's ice cream!

pamsong: *tastes creamy off-white stuff* No lah. It's not.

Friend: The brown wan is ice cream!

pamsong: *tastes creamy brown stuff* Haih, no lah you! It's just cream lah!

Friend: Put in freezer ma become ice cream already lo.

-_-

I. Am. Speechless.

------------

I learned two things today: -

1. I have the most brilliant colleagues.
2. Not everybody gets smarter with age.

– You like that one, too? It's to die for, right? Beh tahan. Soooo good. And I like the way it's got those tiny lines inside. As though the cake was made out of thin thin layers of chocolate. YUM! I'm getting hunger pangs and Secret Recipe craves right now. Darn it.

– I see, I see. Cools. What were you taking again? My brain apologises for being this forgetful. =p

I'm going back to Penang this weekend, actually. My cousin's getting married. Seems like everybody is. I feel old. =(

– What do you mean by first cake? You mean that was the first one you tried? Haha. I think it was the first one I tried, too. But I can't be sure. It could have been the boring marble cheese cake, too. But today, I'm a loyal mud cake supporter. My bf and I used to tapau all the time. Haha.

It sucks when price is a factor, huh? Maybe we should learn to bake chocolate mud cakes. =p

ATTN: Nick Chan
– HAHA. No wonder you're at HELP. It's good there huh? I've got other friends who took psychology there.

Dang, you're right! I feel old, TOO! Shucks. I went through an I'll-never-get-married phase and an i'll-eventually-die-alone phase when I hit 22. Really. I did. Haha. But I wasn't alone. Quite a number of my friends who would be 22 that year felt the same!!! Did you?

– Haha. Sure can make or not? Nanti nanti kayuh then your "lui" stomach ache. Haha. But then again, at least she'll be sitting on that potty with a smile on her face.

ATTN: the nat
– Ooo. You a fan of cakes, too? Haha. It's time to EAT EAT EAT! Cakes are making a comeback.

ATTN: Nick Chan
– Haha. That's what I said last time. I kept saying I wanted a kid but I didn't want a husband. Haha. But not like that's really gonna work, huh? Wishful thinking.

Uh... You LIKE boys!? A bit scary, right? For girls it's different! We have the license to hold hands in public! You don't. Chei chei! Totally cannot compare.

yeah, still waiting for a stork to show up at my door, but then...haih

haha..leme clarify....i guess its a guy thing...joke around and then whack each other...its perfectly masculine, though with some guy friends, its a bit scary coz u not that sure whether ...ahem...haha.... better steer clear then...haha

Pam Song said...

Haha. If your stork eventually pops by, do let it know that my delivery is late, too. Thanks. =p

And yeah yeah. Whack each other up. This is what causes singlehood among perfectly eligible young men. All the good women steer clear of THEM cos they worry that they've got gay tendencies. Haha.
